not sure if your question got answered b/c i didnt feel like goin thru 3 pages, but from your original pic, i get a net volume of 6.66cubes with the actual length of wood for the port 10.5" for a tuning of about 38hz...(the actual port length however is 14" b/c of end correction and the thickness of the baffle)

i just bought some 1/2" or 3/4" spacers and painted them black...worked like a charm

i saw you said 60-90days on production...so what does that put the ETA ship date at once they are finished...end of august? i should be starting a job at the beginning of may, but want the amp before the end of the competition season...and if i can get it, then i will be down for one...just waiting to make sure i get the job before i sign up...

i see these selling to meca competitors like hot cakes since there is no battery limit (except for AS classes)...

if you build your own box you should def. be able to do it for under $60....$20 for mdf, another $10 for glue and screws, use the extra $20 to finish it off however you would like...just take your time, plan ahead, and make sure your measurements are dead on before you cut anything.

24sq"of port area, tuned to about 32hz will put u at about 1.9cubes net....u shouldnt have to double the baffle...it wouldnt hurt, but i wouldnt say its neccesary...

yea, seal the trunk off for sure, that helps with scores in 98% of trunkers, thats how mine is right now...im in the low to mid 140s right now, but that was at 40hz with poo for fuses...hopefully i can get into the mid to upper 140s after i tune it higher and get my fusing situation worked out.

nice flex man! i will be doing meca also next season...probably is S1....from what i have hear with the fuses, go with some agu fuses. get some small amperage ones. like if u are limited to 50amps say, do 10 5amp fuses...i hear its best to spread the current across as many fuses as you can... any idea on what ur hitting right now?

im pretty sure he went thru like 30 or so windshields this year alone...the loudest vehicle i have ever heard, hands down!! 159.2 is just nuts...especially since he plays quite low

once again, assumin that is 3.8cubes before any displacement and that the sub displaces around .2cubes...u could try aeros. two 4"aeros 15" long would put u right aroung 33hz and still have almost 3.5cubes net... someone can check my math if they want...im like 95% sure im pretty close though

that sounds right.... .8 sounds fine because i think they are technically .7coils not 1ohm
