No. Tuning frequency depends on net box volume, port area, and port length. The sub doesn't matter at all except for its physical displacement, but most of the time if you just guess it's close enough to not matter. oh ok well thanks for the clarification

just wondering , but wouldn't you also need to know what size of speakers , and the specs of the sub to be able to tune it correctly ?

actually i take that back , because that is a class AB amp its more like at 60% efficiency and at best its really going to be around 780 watts at 14.4 V bridged at 1 ohm in there at the store and specs they show you that at 1 ohm bridged it will do 1,080 watts but they are measuring it at 83% efficiency witch AB amps are rarely if ever that efficient

have you tried to do this? There are usually two situations that start the PARKING BRAKE Sequence. Second situation is while already parked and the PARKING BRAKE is already depressed: 1) Keep vehicle in Park, PARKING BRAKE should be off 2) Release PARKING BRAKE for 1 sec 3) Depress PARKING BRAKE for 1 sec 4) Release PARKING BRAKE for 1 sec 5) Depress PARKING BRAKE permanently NOTE: Once 2nd procedure is completed, approx 5 sec—video will display. NOTE: This procedure will have to repeated if the IGN is turned off.

did you hook up the reverse wire? i know you prob dont have a camera hooked up , put im not 100% sure put you may have to have the reverse wire hooked up other then that the only thing i can suggest is to make sure your (yellow/blue) parking wire is hooked up correctly

i would say in perfect conditions its gona make at 14.4 V around 1,000 watts at 1ohms

well 1st off welcome to the forum ! hope every one can help you has mush as they have helped me ! looks all to be a pretty good set up so far in my opinion ( and this is just opinion cuz this is all gona really be based on ur preference ) i would do 2 of the sa-8 since ur budget is max $800 that would be around 500 for the amp and if you dont buy the 8's before the end of feb around 300 for 2 subs and since the 50.4 amp is 400 then u will have around 400 left for ur components wish is good money for a good set has far as suggestions on them i would search the forum for suggestion ther are alot of good post on it and good suggestions just wondering , what brand and size is ur power wire?
