Yes, it gets between the cracks and bonds better than to the somewhat smooth surface of plastic.
-
Maybe remove the bracing in the port tho, find another way to reinforce it.

If it is for daily, go for it.

I'm pretty sure that panel is made out of particle board and not plastic.

How big is that crack in reality? Personally I wouldn't waste my time with fiberglass. Just put a piece of scrap wood underneath. Then use somewhat stealthy bolts at each corner and some washer so it does not dig into the wood. With fiberglass it is going to be more time consuming, more money on brushes and containers. And it won't be that strong as a thin piece of wood. And if you are not careful it may soak up into the carpet and you will have to re-upholster it.

I've got one in my car, it's a nice amp indeed. Can you post some more info about your setup? Subs, electric?

I would love to give you guys some input on how they sound, but I have yet to put them on some serious power. Short on money I am slowly getting there and then I'll pick up a 4 chan and some speakers for the highs, not sure what yet. There are tweeters, behind the side mirrors, not the best tho. All is powered by the HU. Thanks for the words.

Shift boot cover. It was bare wood for a while, but is now the same as the doors. Random from after party at a SPL competition

More pictures of the doors: Wires that go on the in and outside of the doors for speaker connection. Soldered Heat-shrink

Glad I got you hooked.
