Sorry to cut into ur topic here but im haveing the same issue as you, only differnce is Im looking for a driver that can take 150Wrms, If i started looking into home speakers are they alot differnt then car speakers?? well other then the 8ohms.

So if u needed a 3000Wrms AX AMP they would just put 3 AX1000 boards under one heat sink? would that be at a better price then just buying 3 AX1000 amps?

Has anyone ever tested it to see what it really puts out? i know most people say us amps are why under rated but since i have a 2000x i wounder by how much.

I called up US AMPS and they didnt have any mods for it. the only mod Ive heard of so far was to cut out the SAT so u could run it at low ohms just to burp it. but as an every day thing thats no good
