check it out man my last setup was in a 76 chevy caprice, so i know old chevys and was runnin a saz-1500. you aint gotta go and drop several a cpl hundred on a h/o alt. hit up a salvage yard or maybe an alternator shop and get urself an alt off of a 92' n up fully loaded burban or a cadillac mid 90s and up and do the big 3. the loaded burbans and caddy's come stock with over 100 amp alts. which urs and older come with like a 67 amp alt. i went thru 2 new stock ones and a battery in less then six months, got a loaded burban alt and voltage only dropped to 13.5 at idle on the saz 1500 with a $50 battery from walmart. and i only had 1 15 in a trunk with rust holes and no trunk seal and i was louder then anyone in my hood and anyone i know. so a suv wit 2 ssd 18's will definately satisfy u on an saz1500 as long as u get a box built right. i recommend ported tuned at 33hz its perfect for daily beat on rap/hip-hop.

i got woke up this morning to the worst news a father could get. my son was born may 2006, he was almost 3 months premature and the first 6mths of his life were spent in the hospital. after multiple surgeries to stop his brain from bleeding from being so premature he finally go to come home. and he had real bad seizures on a daily basis his whole life. me and his mother lasted about a year after that and we split up, for a year after that i was only able to see my son while his mother was at work and his grandmother would let me see him without her knowing. since the ex moved out of her moms i havent got to see him except in pictures and her friends letting me know how hes doing. so i get woke up today "call ur babymama asap its important". i call her and she says we have nothing to say to each other and hangs up. after i get ahold of her mom i find out my son hadn't been eating and got down to 17lbs so he'd been in the hospital for the past week getting a feeding tube put in, 1:30am nov 5th the doctor said he could go home, my ex and the nurse both said they didnt think he was ready but the doctor insisted. so whithin 2-3hrs of him being home he just stopped breathing and passed away before the ambulance arrived..... may 12th 2006 - november 5th 2010 R.I.P sean tyler dobbs, i atleast know now theres no more pain and u will be an angel watching over me.....i love you son..... what makes things worse is his funeral is probably monday which happens to be my birthday

thanx everyone for your prayers and thoughts, i never would have thought anything could hurt this much. reading everyones comments lifted my spirit and made me smile. its very much appreciated especially considering only 4 members of my family even cared to see how im holding up today. im maintaining the best i can, i know it will really hit me on my birthday when i get to see the little fella at the funeral home. then the services will be the day after. i drove around today for several hours bangin at full tilt just to relieve some stress and keep me from fallin back into old habits. again thanx everyone for ur thoughts and prayers

i had an saz-1500 done by db-r. no complaints on my end except in multiple emails chris told me he doesnt just fix whats wrong with the amps he does a complete rebuild of them, which when i got my amp back and read the invoice all he did was fix what was wrong. but damn good work and pretty fast turn around time if u send him a dead amp

i had this same problem with my fosgate power hx2 on a saz1500. from the conclusion i came too it was from getting the coil to hot to soon. after hours n hours on multiple days of playing with my amp gains i finally got it to stop

tight bond + some course thread screws(PRE DRILL THE HOLES) +a thick coat of bedliner on the outside to keep moisture from wood

how much does an smd run? i was figurin bout a grand per sub and per amp and bout a g on batts n deadiner. didnt even think bout the cost of the box, h/o alt, plus wire and accessories. u got about 2x wut u paid for the truck in the system or more? sorry bout all the questions i just like the shit outta the truck/setup

just take a short piece of speaker wire 2-3" and put it in w/ the power wire the the other end of the lil piece jump over to the remote hook up and see if it kicks on if it dont u should probably look into selling it broke as is.(ill buy it if the price is right lol). or send it to db-r electronics and they will fix it for $120 and it will come back just like new
