ok im a graffiti writer so i can give you tips on painting........ from the looks of the pics thats part of the problem. id either try the sealer primer everyone is talkin bout. or just hit it with a heavy coat of glossy bucket/roller paint if you have some layin around.lowes/homedepot always has buckets big and small that people decided they didnt want. its always cheaper then the sealer they mentioned.which in turn will also help seal any leaks. hit it with a quik sand to smooth it. what kind of "tip" is on the can of paint? does it spray a dot? or a line? if it sprays a line or"fantip" the easiest way to lay it down is in a room/garage with minimal wind. and paint it like you would a car. watch a couple vids on youtube to get the idea. and take your time. lay a coat let it dry lay another coat let it dry, repeat. lay 5-6 coats and it will look nice no sanding needed. try to keep the can about 8 inches away and it will lay nicely

can i get some info on how the amp can handle being plugged right in the wall?modded? i've been running amps off of psu's for years the biggestone i have only puts out 400w. so my saz1500 shuts it off when gain is about 1/8th-1/4th up. my trans. went out on my car so my baby's(sub/amp) are doing nothing and i wanna run them from my laptop just nothing to power the amp. so please could u or brandon hit me with a p/m?

the way i found this forum, which its the best of all of em, i had just bought my treo 15's and didnt even know there was such a thing as port tuning or how box size affects the output. and i thought i bought some wack subs bcuz they didnt hit the lows like i expected. so after 2-3 nights of forum cruisin i came across SSA and signed up and looked around and i thought to myself f**kin A! finally a place where i can get legit answers with no douche bags talkin shit cause i was a noob. and now less then a year later evryone i know asks me audio questions and think im a car audio genius because i tell them what i know to help em' out and they just get a confused look when i talk of rms, box sq. footage and port tuning, ohms loads, and the big 3 rather then a cap. but in my own oppinion i still dont really know jack, just enough to not be a noob lol. so yeah thanks everyone thats helped with my problems and not bein total douches.

so i got a deal on a 91 240sx hatch its in perfect shape and runs great for $1000. my dads racin buddy has to many cars so hes hookin me up. it'll be a couple weeks b4 im able to get or see the car in person cause im waitin on my lawyer to call me and tell me to come get a check. so i've been googling and youtubin all day and i can only find 1 with a real system and its walled and im not wall reaady lol. so i come to you guys for help cause i know someone has or knows someone with a 240 and a system. i am wondering if i have space in the hatch area for a good 4cu ft. box after displacements kerf ported and tuned @ 33hz for my rf power hx2 15 powered by my saz1500. so im thinking sub up port back or sub and port both faced towards back until i get some cash saved up to buy multiple 15s, 18s for a wall since i got a job finally. any help would be much appreciated links, pics, vids anything so that i can have my box plans ready for the day i get the car and yank everything from my current car and be bangin in the 240 in 2-3 hours. also would like to know if the stock electrical in the 240 is strong enough for the saz1500 with the big 3.

ya'll built a new box b4 putting them in the new car right? its possible that it could be the box itself making funny noises if it has a slight air leak. pull subs out of the box and play them free air and make sure its the subs. my 15 makes scary noises at me when my ssf is to low. but it does it on higher bass notes with minimal excursion which makes no sense. lol. a ton of ppl said is it the box? which its the sub cause it does it free air. could also be something down in the motor between the coil and pole piece.....its amazing how tiny things affect subs

in a burban id go with a 15". anything these guys mention is worth the money. also peep craigslist for your city, im always finding hella deals on there. or pawn shops im always finding good subs at good prices. if u do use craigslist or a pawn shop make sure u hear it b4 u buy it. also wut are u doing for a stereo? the h/u is a big factor..... make sure u get s/w outputs lol
