new sundown 3500 not putting out??

A digital Multimeter is your friend here... break it out and check your final ohm load at the amp. You may think your wired right but best to double check Then while your at it disconnect the speaker wires and hook your Multimeter up to the amp + and - speaker wire terminals and set it to this chart.

    SLAMOLOGY IPOD/TEST TONES

I imagine they will be selling the CD's at the show. I know when I went to a Meca even they sold CD's there. But i am in the same boat as you I will skip the hell out of the CD with the bass up. I think on Monday I am going to wire in about 15ft so I can make my Head unit reach outside the vehicle. That is what a lot of them do.

My latest run on the TL

This was at the Gorilla Audio show in Canton IL.. This was done on a T40001bd at 2ohms. The Song I was playing was - "Danity Kane - Show Stopper" it seems to be the loudest song in my vehicle. And ever since I did the complete sound deadening in my ride my peak has dropped 4hz. which is 44hz. When I got home I notice that the surround on one of my subs had separated a little so I had to fix that.. hopefully I can get another one or two tenths out of this setup at Slamology. One of these day i am going to get a TL for myself so I can test everything.

Pisses a lot of people off especially when I beat them in there class. So maybe it is not so wrong.. it all a matter of opinion Thank you Your saying you didn't like the 4gauge positive and 8 gauge negative he ran on his last amp? I have another amp that I have not hooked up yet so I have not mounted the distribution block for the mids amp yet. That is 6 gauge not 4 gauge and that amp only accepts 8 gauge inputs so I had to shave some of the wire off the 6 gauge so it would fit. I have a P5002 amp I plan on adding into the system when I finally decide to tackle my doors with some fiberglass, it will be running only mid-bass still have not decided on 5 1/4 or 6 1/2 yet. Also if anyone is going to slamology I will be competing there.. so come check it out
  19. I am going there Friday Night for registration so I can get the speed pass for Saturday morning. There are a few people that are meeting up at the Walmart around 9:00pm Friday night to check rides out. This walmart is right around the corner from the sponser hotel.. LaQuinta inn. I am staying at the Red Roof Inn which is right across the street from LaQuinta. Going to hook up for breakfast in the am around 6:00am that will give me time to shine the ride up before the show also. I will be competing also... see you all there...we are officially 9 days from competition.

For convenient level matching with the rest of the system, the summed output level may be independently set from 0 to 30. In addition, the outputs have a selectable low-pass filter, allowing you to choose 80Hz or full-range operation. Auxiliary Inputs: Two sets of female RCA jacks are provided to allow the connection of portable audio sources. Just connect your portable cassette, MD or MP3 player to this unit, and you can listen to the audio from the portable player through the speakers in your mobile audio system.
