What subs and how many of them will determine what Ohm load your amp will be wired to.
-
No, but they will sell you a box design and one of the many builders on here would be more than willing to build it for you.
-
You're looking for spl. All of those things are install dependent.
-
The 3500 will be plenty for those Havocs. Just make sure they see clean power and set your gains right. Wiring below 1 Ohm for daily isn't the smartest thing in the world to do and it voids the warranty. I love the doors!

I see a BTL needing a recone in the future.

Dude are you for real? At least check their website.

Im selling 2 15" Z V.2's fully loaded. Brand new dual 2 ohms let me know. i have a friend thats a dealer so my price is a bit sweeter then what ur askn...thanks tho If he can offer you such great deals then why don't you buy from him? x2 Also, you should be a bit more specific. Did you have a certain woofer in mind?
-
Interesting read though.

Looks fantastic! MORE PICS
-
I could watch these builds all day every day. Keep up the great work!
-
Those two drivers were built for different purposes. The Xcon is an sq woofer that will get loud. the DC is an spl sub that won't sound like crap (assuming the install doesn't suck). How much space do you have to work with?
-
You shouldn't be able to hear a difference between a 4 ohm and a 1 ohm load. Are you sure your gains are set right?

I love me a Jeep build! Tuned in for this one

Read up on all the classes and pick the one that sounds like what you're after.

The suspense is killing me -
95 degrees here yesterday, you can keep your global warming haha.
-
X2 I get tired of just reading all the posts about it.
-
Wiring to a 1 ohm load won't lower the life of your amp IF your amp is stable at one ohm and you are sending it clean power. It sounds like the Bl is right up your ally.
-
I don't think any of the manufacturers on this site would do anything like that.
-
Hmmm, not happening to me....
-
Generally more cone area is louder assuming power is the same. But it is all install dependent so no one here will be able to tell you which of these will be loudest in your particular application.
-
What are your goals? More spl? More sound quality oriented? Do you want to go ported or sealed with the enclosure? etc.

12" in a 2.5 cu.ft. vs 15" in 3 cu.ft.
Bearlokey13 replied to abigor's topic in SPL & SQ / Fabrication
They do have T/S parameters, they just aren't listed. Go with the 12" as you don't have enough room for a proper enclosure for a 15". -
Buy them all and let us know.
