FINALLY: The bump has been out of the car for awhile now. Here is what it looked like just before it was taken out. All my audio stuff is now going on sale!

Hatch covers, alarms, tint, Chuck Norris... I don't care what you do, I'd still consider risking it for that car... Of course then it would have to sit in a garage or chop shop or somewhere out of sight and why the hell have the car if you can't show it off? Well here's the deal: busy weekend=no pics of final product. I'm stuck at college about 100 miles from home with no vehicle, so hopefully I can talk my lil sis into taking a few shots of the final product. Stay tuned, or don't, there's probably better things to be watching on the forum.

Until I get home this weekend thats it, and even then it'll only be a pic of the final product. Pretty boring, I know, but thats what I get when I wait over 3 months after completion to post the build.

Thanks! Lighting?? That is an unreal amount of wiring! My son is great at soldering at this point, and suprise! we got some more lighting to add here in the next week. Your build log has a load of views!! I'll never be able to top this one. I do have 2 different builds coming up besides my wall and hope to share them as well. Go for it. Yeah, me and Stitch are some kind of odd couple I guess you could say. While I don't see intercourse in our future, I do find that she really seems to dislike my human lady friends. She wouldn't even let an ex of mine touch her until we broke up. Go figure; my pup is the only women whose always going to have my back! Same with my lady dog Gotta love 'em. Then I can always say, "I'm staying home with the lady, ya know? Humina humina!" so I don't look like a complete tool when I decide not to go out. lol

For some reason I recall that the type r's like a little bit bigger enclosures than recommended, but I could be wrong. When in doubt, do what the manufacturer says and hope they're right. I guess I'd shoot for 3 per sub.

I'd rather go with the cake. MDF is great for boxes, bad for food.

I had a big ole box for my 15, and I could have gotten away with 1 sheet, but then I went with a slot port instead of aeros or PVC or something, so take port baffles into account too if necessary.

Seriously, build your own box; it's a life experience! You can do it if you want, you just have to want to do it. Go forth, and may thy hands be coated in the sweet sticky mulch of MDF dust and wood glue.

A couple of things? 1.) What did Soundstream say? It better be at least 4 figures just look at this sexy machine! 2.) You mentioned much earlier in the build about a turbo kit in the future, but I just wanted to throw out my opinion: Even though it would be awesome to have an amazing looking car like this with a big ole snail spooling under the hood, it is a lot easier to keep a slow car looking good, and also a lot easier to keep an N/A car running smoother than a non-stock turbo car. If you and your son want to have a fast project too, please get one! Just not another 2g Eclipse cause they got nastier crank walk than Compton has Crip Walk... You're likely quite the gearhead as well seeing as everything you touch seems to turn to gold! (Except the grill ) I just... Oh hell I'm just rambling again. It's your car, enjoy that **** to the fullest! 3.) You and your son inspire me. Hopefully I can get my dad to get himself some free time next summer as I'm in the process of getting a new project... Either way, keep on keepin' on, I wish you the VERY best! I can't wait to see where this goes next!
