  1. I dont even know the difference between grafic and parametric. would getting the IMPRINT processer be worth it you thinhk? I would probably say no only because once imprint does it's magic, it supposedly locks you out of everything. As in, it might low pass your subs at 150hz or do some funky EQ and you can't manually adjust that. I suggest playing around with the graphic eq first. Per the manual these are the center frequencies the graphic eq covers. Band-1 (63 Hz) / Band-2 (150 Hz) / Band-3 (400 Hz) / Band-4 (1 kHz) / Band-5 (2.5 kHz) / Band-6 (6.3 kHz) / Band-7 (17.5 kHz) Go in, boost a little one by one and see how it affects the sound to your ear. Would adjusting these affect just the door speakers or the sub too? would it be better to leave the EQ on FLAT and just use my sax50.4 to do the adjusting. im not running active and i have all four doors in use? I dont really want to add bass to my doors and treble to my subs... Depends where you xover your subs and which slopes you use. I cross mine over around 63 at 24db slope. So for example if I were to boost Band 1 (63 HZ) it would affect my subs (almost like a bass knob since the "Q" of the graphic eq is rather wide I think). 150 is so far up from there it should have no affect on my subs, only my doors. But if you were to cross over subs around 120hz (haha) with a 12 db slope, then 150 may just affect your subs a very small amount. Having said all that, do you have a vague understanding of crossover slopes and frequencies and what-not?

  3. Hey guys, I'm not 100% sure but I don't believe there is a bass/treble option on the 9887, only a graphic or parametric EQ (you can choose which in the audio menu). The 9886 might have bass / treb but the 9887 is a more "advanced" head unit so to speak. The multiEQ button has to do with the imprint processor. Without imprint that button has no function.

Enclosure Build for deejayarecue (Two 10 Inch RE SE's)

Just picked up the box from Andrew personally about an hour ago. This thing is a beast! And very LOUD...we played a few tracks in the parking lot and got a bit of roof flex off of about 250W per driver (wayyy under powered). Here are few crappy cell phone pics. I urge anyone who needs a solid box on the cheap to contact these guys ASAP (before they wise up and raise prices!). Thanks again Andrew!

Enclosure Build for deejayarecue (Two 10 Inch RE SE's)

Here are the dimensions that were emailed to me. I believe they are still accurate.. H - 16.00 Inches D - 16.0 Inches L - 36.75 Inches 2.5 Cubic Feet for the subs .24 Cubic Feet for sub displacement .077 Cubic Feet for bracing Enclosure Tuning: 32 Hz 14.5 x 2.5 Inch port opening gives 36.25 sq inches of port Double Baffle, Flush Mount, and both sides indented .75 Inches, and Gray Carpet. We did have sort of a hiccup. The "overall diameter" dimension listed on RE's web site for the original SE series woofer was wrong, so the speaker basket wouldn't clear the flush mount opening. Something I should have caught before emailing Andrew the specs. Nevertheless he agreed to either repair the box if possible, or build another one entirely. AWESOME customer service.

Having a Box built for 2 RE SE 10"s..

Thanks guy's, I will definitely post pics. Unfortunately they're only gonna be getting about 250 watts a piece off of a JL 500/1 until I sell it and buy a Sundown SAE 1200D!
  7. I've been in talks with Andrew from Argent for the past couple of days. He'll be building my box for my SE 10"s soon! Maybe we can get a build log too? If this box is anything close to his other works I'm sure I'll be
