Well after playing with this set up for 30 minutes or so today. I must say um very pleased. The main goal with the revisions were to keep voltage up during my streetbeat runs. Before I was dropping to mid 10s after 30 seconds. Now I can bang for minutes without dropping below 13v. I would say the revisions were very successful. Also the braces held up very well. Still need to reseal it from the back. -
No, not him. There are a few team ssa guys doing huge numbers in relatively small power. They don't need a lit to get loud. But can take it if you got it. Yes 1 zcon 15 per 1 dc5k @.5 ohms each.

I've had quite a few guys compliment how well my zcons sound. Xcons and zv3 are a better comparison. Zcon outperforms both in output and power handling. My zcons take a DC5ks at .5 each very often. Seeing 160dbs from just 4 15s.

4 18s on 30k only doing a 57. No thanks. Try to shoot 300-350 sq in.

Flip a coin. Both are good drivers. I would like to try a 4 inch coil some day but I'm using a crap ton of power. I have not blown a zcon yet. Pick what fits your budget.

Yeah, sucks. Wasn't a real spendy one, maybe 80 bucks at Walmart. Time to step up to a ctek 25000 or something capable of maintaining a large bank. If I'm gonna have to buy a new one I might as well go "all out" -

I got mine at radio shack. It was like 60 bucks but well worth it. I've gone through several cheap dmms. For the money its great. Don't skimp too much.

The diehard agm is the same as the Odyssey and stinger. Just rebadged. Xs powers claim to be the best because it uses virgin lead... So does Odyssey, stinger, diehard. -

Picked up the other 4 diehards today. I ordered the last 3 to make 10 but won't have them in time for heatwave. Just a little update on the goals for this car. I'm pretty satisfied with my burp score. I'm focusing more on my streetbeat score. (30 sec average on Usaci music) My goal is a 158.6. That's the current world record. My best yet is a 56.7 I have a lot to go but I feel its within my reach before the seasons end. I'm hoping the changes made this week will yield better streetbeat numbers. A few guys can't see the changes made and are fucking dumb in my opinion. The entire setup changed in its own way except the front baffle. Well see in one week. -
