    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

I am stoked for you Steve! I have spent quite a bit of time in Southlake area. Thats a great neighborhood!thanks dude. Hopefully it all works out with the inspection. Has new roof, new pebble tec pool, and a few other things.I have big plans for the house after closing. Can't go wrong as its only 20 years old. You REALLY cant go wrong with masonry exterior. Does the pool have a hot tub section built in? I assume you are moving your construction biz up to the DFW area?the pool does not have the spa portion. We plan to add an above ground one near the house. Looming at the Arial view, none of these houses had the hot tub. Just a pool. The biggest draw for us to this house was that it had a pool and a decent yard.My company did ask me to move up there. Sadly I don't own the company though. Back in '09 I started my own subcontractor company. When it got slow I took a job with my competition and closed up shop. Fast forward a few years. that company got bought out by a firm in Minneapolis. They are the ones who asked me to run all the projects in north Texas. My wife works from home, so she can live in any major city that her company (Nike) has an office in. Any chance she has some pull with R&D? Got a shoe idea that is not on the market at all, but cannot afford a patent. LOL J um.. not likely but she does have some close ties to the marketing dept. Nike won't pay you for it, if the do use it.

    the over-RMS fetish

For daily beating, I don't see the need. For competition, there is a purpose.

    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

They accepted the offer?! Congrats Steve!negotiations are down to about 450 bucks. If she declines it she's stupid. I think she's just trying to make us wait now. If she had just replaced the carpet she would have got a full price offer right away, considering the comps in the neighborhood bring multiple offers within a week. The house didn't show well when we saw it but I can look through that. Dumping 6 or 7 grand into carpet is what I think pushed off buyers. Once a house sits for a couple weeks there, buyers just assume it a bad house and don't even look. This has been on market since August, she's a single mom of two boys, recently divorced, and clearly does not live there anymore. She would be a dumb bitch not to take what I've offered. Like I said the only thing left for her to agree on is a $450 home warranty.

Thanks guys. Here's a look. Quite a bit smaller than the house I just sold, but it's a great area and one of the best school districts. http://www.cbdfw.com/property/2206-Canyon-Trail-Carrollton-75007/NTREIS/12018383/

I mean my truck is already black

So gunmetal over the current black, then 5 coats white, then pearl to my desired look? Sounds like a plan. Definitely using the sprayer next time though. From my extremely little experience with the product, it seems like you have to spray with the rattle can very close to the surface. Pulling back to get greater coverage seemed to create a more textured finish. Plus I think it would be cost prohibitive trying to rattle can the whole truck. I used 2 cans white and 1 can pearl on just the tailgate. Hard to tell in the pics but I still didn't get 100% coverage.

Played around with the plasti-dip a little last night. I only used the rattle cans to see how the color looks, more so than technique. When I do the whole truck I will use the supplied airless sprayer for more consistent coverage and better final product. I did have a few runs which I'm not worried about right now. This does not spray like a traditional spray paint. This is 5 coats of white and 2 heavy coats of pearl. I wanted to let this have a day to cure before putting in the clear. For this I will mask off half of the tailgate and see which I prefer. Gloss or satin. Before I spray the entire truck I will peel this all off and do the truck as a whole.

Nice, well, the white plasti-dip is really thin and it likes to shoot out blotchy, keep the can warm and it shoots just like normal. I'll try and meet up with you soon, kind of a hectic schedule at the moment.thanks for the tip. What side of town are you on?

  24. There are two truths here. 1st being. Nobody knows exactly what caused this. 2nd being. No manufacture makes 100% bullet proof equipment. Things like this happen to many end users and with equipment from many manufacturers. This particular time is was you as the user and SSA as the manufacturer. Nothing more than "shit happens"
