Contact them and ask them to swap it out if you ordered a d4 and they sent d2.......wait do they offer a LI with d4?? i think its just d1 or d2?

Wont 4 speakers with Dual 1 coils make .5 ohms, 2 ohms, or 8 ohms?? Wouldnt you need Dual 2 coils or Dual 4 to get 1 ohm load?

Running 0 gauge power wire in a crew cab silverado
stevemead08 replied to Lifted07Duramax's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Thats a good question. i would pull power from which ever is closest in line to your amp. ill be doing three batteries under the hood soon. i built a custon dual inlet intake that opens up a third spot where the factory air box sat -
I cut a hole in the floor, protected the wires from the sheet metal, and sealed it up around the wires.

So here the deal i just came up on two 12 inch D2 Fi Qs. What to do? i have a 3 cube net box i have that i made to fit under my seat in my truck. ported@35 Im just using the Q or Qs untill my SA-8 come in from sundown I have good electrical and will be run off a SAZ-1500d. The question is should i run 1 Q ported in my box at 1 OHM or seal my port and run both at .5 or 2 OHMS. Im looking for loudest. I know Qs arent for LOUD applications, but this system is temperary just to hold me over.

A little different situation with our trucks. 1 run of 4 ga is about all you can fit here -
Well i got the Fi Qs today.....Not that impressed i have two 12s in a sealed box 3 cubes net. maybe ill try ported tomorrow. i know the Q isnt a spl sub my my 8s hit about 2x this hard. Fi recomends 1.8 cubes minimum per sub for ported. could i run two in 3 cubes?

Run the wire under the truck. i have 3 runs of 1/0 cable in a sleeve running along the top of my frame rail on the passenger side coming up through a hole in the floor behind my back seat. Im running a SAZ1500d and a SAX125.2 behind my seat. check the build log. maybe that will help. mounting the amps is pretty tricky. -
Yeah im waiting for 4 also. i bought some 12 inch Qs just to tide me over. the REs are 'bout to blow!!
