No shit!? He pushed one for Zaim, that benched 470plus. Lol. Idle, was zero. Ha ... I love mike. Love him. I'm gonna hang with a smaller. One that dominates idle and has nutty fine rev output. I am looking for 500, at idle, cold. on 2 We'll see. he actually got 495 out of it. That what he's building me. I ran dual singers in my camaro, 2011 2012 and sold them in 2013 -

Chick in yoga pants with slight camel toe- kinda sexy. Chick at the gym in yoga pants with visibly sweaty, monster moose knuckle- not so sexy.

thank you!. No I am still using the factory location plus the A/C location. The bracket I want to fab, is to add a third alt next to the factory spot. I hav yet to do so.I likely won't do it until I move up in class to the unlimited class. I have restrictions in my class this year. -
Control the controllables.

Getting closer to test time. Subs back in and taped up. Decided to paint the tape to match the box so it's not so ugly. -

These trucks fall out sealed up. It will be an Outlaw kick score. Good guess though. -

Lmao!!I bet its big numbers! Wouldnt doubt his goals at all. goals and reality are far apart. Took me a year and a half to hit my 160 in the camaro. I too expect big numbers but I won't get anyone's hopes up. -

Now that it's playing. Roughly 11-12k. New meter should be here in a few days. Any predictions? 3 stock Ethos 15s, all caps, no batteries, 2 amps. Ready GO! -
Texas will be representing DSS loud and proud!

My DSS Ethos review and comparison to the SP4 (db numbers inside)
stevemead08 replied to swift's topic in Direct Sound Solutions
there is a large cone area Ethos build in preliminary stages here in Texas. Can't say much more than that but I think it will be a showcase for sure. No it's not me. -

good eye.All amp connections will be dual input 3/0 when it's done. I ran 6 runs from the front ans this is what I had left. I'll order more when I goes on sale again. I want 6 more runs back and to finish that last amp connection. -

I didn't think anyone would notice. I was a hair short on the 3/0 and I still had a little 2/0 in the garage. As long as both amps have it, it shouldn't matter. It's only one input on each amp. All other wiring in the truck is also 3/0.It fits pretty snug in the amps. -
CT Sounds

The SMD dyno is a joke if using the burst. And I compare because the life span on the Korean board is quite longer. Better parts Ect. How an amp performs vs. The ratings are irrelevant. A 2500w amp that makes 3k, isn't a 2500w amp. It's a 3k watt amp rated at 2500w. The RD D5 is rated at 2kw. But clamps out in excess of 5k. Is it a revolutionary 2kw amp? Not it's a 5kw amp that's marketed to the competitor to fit in a certain power class. No company wants their amps to I'll perform. So the they under rate them so they look better. Go look at the amps I just got installed in my build log. Those are rated at 3k. Here's the SMD results. Smoke and mirrors. -
CT Sounds
stevemead08 replied to KenC210's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Ct sounds are China amps. All the better ones, sundown, dc, B2 Ect are Korean built. There is a reason a ct7k can be had for like $700 new and a dc7.5k or comparable pcb cost around $1500. You guys are comparing apples to elephants. -

so I found out yesterday that there is a show on Sunday so i got to work. pretty surprised I got it playing in such short notice. Strapped at .33 ohm each. .66 final load. -
I'm not here to bash any company. I was just making a statement.

And here I was running 10k/4 subs wondering if it'd be too much lol. I haven't received any tracking or anything, but I'd imagine I'm in this 2nd week of May thing? Yes you are in the 2nd week of may thing. It'll be about two weeks quicker than the build house lead time. Also tracking will not be issued until the drivers are built and packaged. This way customers don't wait in wonder when their order will arrive. When you receive a tracking number it'll ship by the next business day. Hell, 4 weeks is a breeze compared to most other companies. I think i waited like 4 to 6 months from another company. I've waited far far longer, just to get the wrong equipment. I was less that than pleased. My Ethos came quick. I was not in a hurry, obviously.
