You can get crazy loud with 300-500 watts on a 2000wrms sub. you dont need to buy a low power sub. No such thing as underpower. Check the classifieds

You probably shouldnt blame the sub or claim that its never seen power. I believe you were complaining of clipping problems back in early april. (yeah your threads get saved) If you have been sending your sub a clipped signal for the past few months i would imagine thats your problem. Fix your clipping problem then re-cone you sub.
