    IAK needs an "IHOP"

thanks dude. Im glad you made an appearance on SSA to greet the new family member. And yes poopy pampers suck bad. The first poops are all sticky and nasty plus his equipment down there is rather large and poses great difficulties getting him all clean. had to have the nurse bathe him to make me feel better.

    IAK needs an "IHOP"

Thanks bro. you said its a whole new kind of love and your 100% right. at only 25 hours old, i would give my life for this guy. he is so precious. Its funny we spent 13 months trying to make him and 10 months cooking him. Thats almost two years waiting for this dude and now that i/we have him im scared as fuck. I really have no clue how to care for a newborn or what little things to expect other than the normal stuff. I know we will be ok. were an in love married couple that planned his arrival. We both have income and we have a great house to raise him in. There are families out there with far less than us and survive just fine as long as there is love in the family.

    4 SA-8's: AQX2500.1 or AP30001D?

My only problem wasn't really the power it was over excursion.I think if your carefull you can run 3k as long as they are in a small box. I had 3 cubes at 30hz and 3000w and two seperated spiders.

Is my enclosure looking good so far?

What are your port dimensions? and box volume?

    Loss of output

Yes, a d3100. check with XS about fitment. also Those batteries can be mounted anywhere they fit. even on its side in the trunk. Different size batteries have different "group" sizes. group 31 is the largest amp/hours most companies sell.

    Loss of output

Your probably just losing voltage. a group 31 size battery should help out a bit. check out XS powere in the SSA store. Too much more problems will likely result in damaged equipment.

    3 SA-8's Box Design Help

Yes, daily use. Looking to get the smoothest response from them. My overall goal is for SQ not brain rattling bass. The only other question I haven't seen answered is: When calculating the box volume do you subtract out the entire port volume, or just the material used making the port? Than just one sa8 would be fine.Subtract the whole port volume and material. also you need to subtract the driver volume. for the sa8 its about .10 cube per driver
