Jacob, whats the airspace requirements on these? and when will they be available. Im looking to upgrade my 4 sa8s with 2 10s. would like to use the Nightshade v.2 if possible. im trying to be louder than now but i have only 2.5 ish cubes and lots of power.

Ill probably title the build as an IAK build. PappaChop wants more exposure and i just like building shit.

EDIT about 3.8 cubes before driver displacment. Also how wide is the NSv.2 motor?

Alright peeps its almost rebuild time in the work truck. If you dont know, im running 4 sa8s on a saz3k @1 ohm in 2.2 cubes @35 hz. it sound pretty loud but im just not satisfied. I want it louder. I have about 2.5 cubes to use but im limited to the 4 8s or 2 10s because of height restrictions. any suggestions?? Im thinking maybe 2 Nightshade v2 10s on a saz3k or maybe even 6k if needed as i have a few saz3ks stashed away. Dose anyone make a louder 10 that would work in my space? im pretty sure i have the loudest 8s out there. any thought?

Mother in law drove 4 hours last night to houston to babysit so the wife and i caould go out on a date. We hit a nice steakhouse the saw the move The Town. its was pretty good. this was our first date since the baby was born. we needed it. living so far from anybody we know makes it hard to get a break. we dont know a single person here that could help us out for even an hour. Sucks!

you should be good where your at. how much power are you using?

Hey guys im pulling out the old system and replacing it and reusing some. currently i have 2 re audio 8s under the back seats and MB quart q series mids and highs. Im puttig the 8s in the back doors and putting a Fi BTL 12 in their place. gonna be running mids and highs off a sundown sax 50.4, midbass (re8s) off my sax 125.2 and the btl off the saz 1500d. anyways its gonna be a process. just got all new knu 1/0 power and ground and 200 sq/ft of fatmat rattle trap today so im getting started on that. already started my btl box12. take a look.

Its not hard for a single 10" to be louder than your 4-8's, will it move the same amount of air maybe yes or maybe no. What tuning and any other information to help you make the decision on the right sub. I had 3-12"s kicker cvx underpowered and now I have one sundown zv.1 15" underpowered and the 15" is louder, it doesnt move the same amount of air but it gets louder though.
