I run mine on 3k all day long. i have driven 24,000 miles this year alone. they will take it if your not stupid. ive never broke one due to thermal failure. SA-8s are rated at 400w and they do very well in that range. they do even better on a little more power.

Thats subjective. i have mine in 2.4 cubes under the seat of my 09 crewcab and its doing 143s on music everyday. thats not super loud compared to other systems on here but it sounds great to ME.

4 Sa-8s in the right box, on the right power will blow your mind. trust me.

i dont suggest a larger box for an sa-8. i run 4 in a 2.4 cube box. -
email [email protected] and ask his advice. getting rid of rattles takes more attention than a couple layers of deadener. i treated my whole truck with all his products for under 700 shipped.

DDo you really need an amp that big? But remember having more amp than needed is a good thing to have for future upgrades. You don't always need to use all of that power if its not needed. -

I run a 3k in my truck with no problems with just a second battery. I say get it and just watch it.
