You already built the box, you know your peak freq and the DCR is fixed at either 2 or .5, calculating box rise is pointless. If you were to build a different enclosure to combat rise, then thats a different story. you lost me. If i know what my rise is that will tell me weather of not i can "safely" drop my amps down to .25 each. -

im gonna try to hit the USACi bass battles show on Harwin on the 11th to get some TL numbers. at the last show in webster my meter read .1 less than the termlab. -

WHAT? You can't hear it from there? Na, if you can get some more flex I might be able to though. I'm sure I can work that out. I've only played about 6 or 7 songs in there. I'm still working on finding the best song. -

After i get my alternator i will drop the amps down from 2 ohms strapped to .5 strapped. need better voltage and to calculate box rise first. -

The great thing is you dont even need huge power for this driver to get really loud. (i just like too) Enclosure looks wonderful!

I think a 160 is pretty far away... nice to think about anyway. I keep having to raise the goal, at some point i need to just be satisfied. these drivers just keep impressing me. -

First testing session with the DC 5.0s. 155.0 @47 Hz. Amps strapped at 2ohms. Im pretty happy with this score. I had some re re moments and wasted quite a bit of battery trying to figure it out. I had to email Rusty to get things cleared up. Very shortly a received a call from him and it turned out to just be a setting on my alpine HU. Pretty good customer service! It wasn't even an amp issue but he was willing to spend an hour in the phone with me troubleshooting. +1 in my book. I need to order an alt soon then ill try dropping these bad boys down to .25 each. The zcons are very impressive as they barely get warm even with around 10kw flowing. -
