Very cool! Man, a 15 in an F-body with a good amount of power on it will be nuts. Josh's is plenty loud...let alone a 15. :boxin:

Yep, a money order will be just fine. Our address is PO Box 3082, Mooresville NC, 28117. I took both of the smalls, Jake has a medium, Ryan just ordered an XL, so that leaves one medium, four larges, and three XL's out of this batch.

Paypal addy is [email protected]. 'not sure on shipping. How about $20 shipped anywhere in the U.S.? Sounds good to me.

stolen subs, stolen pics, ebay site possibility?
Electrodynamic replied to Sturchionix's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
Not a problem. Thanks for keeping your eyes peeled guys. -
After seeing Hoss's new amps I want two of them...or just one. But they are so big that they literally wouldn't fit in my car's false floor - not even one of them. If my car was bigger I'd probably sell a finger or two to get them.
-
Hey, it's true. As it stands, things are looking up and up. We might be able to break even and start all over again. We'll get more 15's, 12's, and the 8's. Thieves suck, period. And we are re-bounding with a vengance.

If a Brahma 15" displaces 0.18, ours probably displaces 0.15 (I know I've posted the 0.15 figure before). I posted that .3 cubes thing to settle people down. I remember posting numerous times over and over again about the displacement so I just wanted to make sure and account for roughly double b/c it's better to have more volume than not enough.

Thanks. If you can, mail it to me at my PO Box. Remember, no email.

Hey guys. This might be a little random in order, but I've got about a million things racing through my head every minute. First, to forum mod's, can you find my information from the computer(s) that I used to post from and keep an eye out for it? And of course, the theives are probably reading this. And if they are, please come by my house and own up to it like a real man...wait, that's impossible for you because that's impossible for any man with a conscience. Thanks for all the responses guys, especially Below30, that kind of put things in a different perspective. I just can't wait for the theives to try and sell them. Kevin, that email I just fired off to you was read before I read your post. Seriously though, call them and female dog them out (different topic guys). - haha, apprently I can't say b!tch. But yes, everything is gone. All of my fathers stereo equipment, all of my stereo equipment, all CD's, components, computers, all of it, just gone. I'm over at Hoss's place now sending this response. Insurance isn't looking too good right about now, but I'm off tomorrow to go myself and see what I can do.

Hi. I really don't know what to post except for what you've read is true (I'm at a Realty business using their computer to post this) - everything was stolen. Confidential business documents, licensing agreements, tax info, bank statements, EVERY subwoofer (THE prototype, all new subs, etc) , all of it...gone. I actually only had one outstanding order (the 302's, which are still here because they were in my garrage) and one claw Magnum to be repaired (stolen). But it is true, I have no net access because every computer (personal and business) was stolen. If insurance doesn't cover it, SI is gone. This is a huge blow. But thanks for posting (Clarke, Hollis, Ryan, everyone) guys. I'll try to be on here as much as I can, when I can. And if the web site goes ape-$hit or random emails get sent out (Outlook along with passwords and such were on one of the computers) it isn't me, it's the theives.
-
<---working full-time on top of trying to run SI. Just give me a little time. PS: Send me $30 and we'll call it even.
-
Thanks Clarke, it's changed now.

You can separate the mid and tweet if you want, but it's not necessary. Recommended volume is anything you can put them in. Hopefully larger than 0.05 cubes.
-
I don't mean this to come off the wrong way, but is it just my computer that sees the current "Order Online" page or does it still say that they are out of stock? I've had numerous people ask me if they're in stock but yet the "Order Online" web page states that they are (like I said, unless I'm the only one seeing it b/c I update it from my computer). But yes, they are in stock, both 12's and 15's.

Let me know what you think guys. I made these kicks about a month ago, which included about 5 layers of bondo due to pinholes after sanding :punch: but I think they turned out pretty good. Oh yeah, those are the 307's in the kicks.
-
I know, I can't find any around here that are the correct size. :punch:

Haha, true. That un-finished, velcro'd, beauty is sadly not seen. It fits nicely though. B)

You should see the paint job up close, it's just flat-out awesome. I tried calling you the other weekend but you never called me back. Maybe I can come up there sometime soon.

Speaker aiming is confidential. J/K, the drivers side drivers are aimed at the passengers head and vice-a-versa. The drivers side kick doesn't interfere with the clutch unless you're totally oblivious to the fact that there's a kick down there and you place your foot on the far left side of the clutch pedal. ...I just put my foot on the floor when I'm not on the clutch. And BTW, imaging is about 6" above where the windshield meets the dash.

I told Alex that I'd let him post his equipment for sale on here for a while. After a bit I'll move it.
-
If you're comfortable with your equipment, turn it up even more. The 15 can handle quite a bit of abuse. They will/do distort, but it takes a lot for them to do so. I had to hook up a 15" free-air in order to show Steve (ScubaSteve on the forum) that it was his amplifier that was distorting, not the 15. People don't realize how far they can move either. I'll try to get a video of one going at it in free-air sometime, as it's really cool. But anyway, you'd have to get it moving 1.5"-2" before hearing distortion from the sub if you are in the car with it. If your ear is right next to it, it would obviously take less excursion for you to hear it distort but you get the picture. And the over-abundance of low-end is probably a combination of the box/tuning and your cars acoustic properties. Numerous people can vouche for the 15's ability in the upper-end of the bass spectrum. I'm glad to see that it's doing you justic. But, I must go. It's lightning like crazy here right now. Peace!

Two sealed 15's would do the trick. I know that "by the numbers" it should be even, but you're going to get into a totally different world with the purchase of the 15's. I think the 15's pretty much speak for themselves when I am switching from a 12 to a 15 in the cab of a shoebox-sized car (Del Sol), and my buddy Hoss is probably going to sell his claw 12's to get 3 15's to put in his Taurus if they'll fit. We haven't had a single person say anything negative about the 15's yet. They go lower than the 12's, hit harder, are more efficient, but they do require a lot more room. If you wanted, you could literally fiberglas the basket of the 12's and make a sealed enclosure out if it and barely be in 'trouble' with your Qtc as you only get into problems below .6 cubes each, which is nuts.
-
Hahaha, 'glad you like it. Now I can't wait to get mine installed in my shoebox-sized car. After switching out a GZ Nuke 15 with one of mine in Hoss's car I made the decision to go with the 15 instead of the 12 in my car. PS: That's a nice sized box you have the 15 in. It should sound great in that box.

Stereo Integrity dropped from BassBox Pro?
Electrodynamic replied to OldSchool's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
I didn't even know we were in there at one time.
