I see you got your internet back. The driver is AWESOME!! I love it...and yet I can't keep it! Damnit. To me, it looks twice as good as any of the proto's looked. ...that might just be me though. Pics coming...

No one knows the country code for CN, but it sure as hell isn't the number 1. They're too shifty and/or quiet to be called country #1.
-
Yeah sure. The 12's were made yesterday and the 15's were made today. I will find out later on today about an ETA and also how the packaging is coming along (packing them takes longer than making them).

Large T-shirts, no polo's.

Nah, he didn't sign the title so he's clean. Lets just say he better not show up in my neck of the woods...ever. I'd really like to give you the proto to use, so call me tomorrow and hopefully we can work something out. Right now the proto is sitting behind my dead car so it's no sweat off my back. ;)

Hey Upstage, can you call me again? We'll have to meet up this weekend sometime. Some a$$ clown blew my motor while test driving it while I was in New Orleans so I am vehicle-less.

Even after Denim's awesome video with 400 watts, it is redily apparent that a lot of people view a Mag as a "power hungry" sub when it is far from that. They are very efficient drivers capable of showing up anything they are put up against (albeit a fiar comparisson). The only time I have not recommended our drivers is when people have had a single driver with less than 300 watts available. With two drivers and 400+ watts available PER driver, that is a very very good formula for great bass.

Yes we are extremely busy. Threads like this will not be tolerated (read the welcome / rules) so this will be closed.

I love having smart a$$'s for reps. They remind me of myself.

I'll get you a quote this week Wedge. :)

Heck yeah! I'm going to be putting 2 12's in our new SI demo car along with a 5k watt amplifier pretty soon. Numerous batteries and some killer fiberglas work are in the mix. I thought about doing 2 15's, but in an Acura Integra 2 12's are going to be plenty to show people the capacity of these new drivers. I'm going to hit the local shows along with Nick M. (Nick M's shows won't be "local", but I'm still going to them) and kick some serious tail.

I'm Nick. You can actually call me right now if you want to shoot the $hit. ...and I'd really like to see the results from the comparisson to those other subs and the prototype/the new Mag's. :) -

When you get in touch with your friend about comparing it against a W7, get in contact with me. I'll give you the proto for a little while. Believe me, there's that much of a difference. -
If you've been in contact with me it's probably due to one of two things: 1) You were one of the few reps numbers I have in my cell phone who I called when I found out that the subs were being built. 2) You have received a reply from me via email (those who have, consider yourself lucky). Being this busy is not healthy.

Customs released the motors earlier this week and they arrived late this previous week (Friday the 5'th or so). They are slated to be built on Tuesday! Packing them up will take longer than actually building them but at least the gears are moving now!! -
Got a problem, need some help

Look here: http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/i...opic=3068&st=30 and here http://www.stereointegrity.com/Magnum12.html Basically everything is brand new except the basket. Better surround, cone, dust cap, spiders, tinsel leads, coil, motor, everything got improved. -
I found another claw-basket driver.

Yes. Completely new design - not based off of any other motor - inside and out. Everything, literally, got upgraded. Well...the basket is the only thing that did not get changed. -
Box sizes for S.I. 15" magnum

We had the red Explorer on our demo car page tuned to 40 Hz and it was nuts. For competitions it got tuned to 55 Hz, but when it was at 40 it hit beyond hard (a bad comp was getting a 151). Getting low and loud is always fun, and for a non-competition car tuning low is where it's at. If you want to be competitive you need to tune high. Mid 30's to low 40's is where I'd go if you want to compete. -

Cool, I didn't know they had a stamped version of the claw out. If it's not stamped, it's a VERY thin version of what we used. On a side note, I like the backplate art/text. -
You're not the only one. I'm sitting here at my desk looking over at the prototype with the logo'd dust cap on it thinking "when in the heck is customs going to get off their arse so I can have these things?!"

Looking at getting 4x 15" Magnums
Electrodynamic replied to Mega Heavy Bass's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
I think the answer to both of your questions is "yes." And you're right, damned FWD's over here in the states. -
He's done some impressive scores in NC when he used to live here (I believe 148's were pretty common). Explorers are awesome for SPL - the red one on our web page was doing 152's on a bad day with four 12's in the stock class of SLAP.

If you need to blame anybody, blame our government's customs department. They have felt the need to hold a container that has a few of our parts in it for over a week now. I was hoping it would clear within a few days and not have a delay, but that's not the case.

Hollis can break an anvil with a sponge. Somehow no matter what he gets his hands on, he manages to break it.
