Then you could just leave the stock tweets in if they don't sound bad, or upgrade them also. Maybe even just eliminate them all together. But a plate with round speakers will sound way better than normal 4x6s.

If you got the money to spend, you won't go wrong with Fisher. A guy that lives by me does alot of his designs and I have personally seen and heard some of his boxes and they are ridiculously loud. I hear alot of good things about Fisher build quality also. If I didn't have a first rate builder localy, I would def buy from him.

You would be better off having a local stereo shop build your box rather than buying prefab garbage. I know, I bought R/T and Atrend for years thinking I was getting great boxes. 90% are tuned to high, like in the 40 and 50Hz rang, and have inadequate airspace. Shop would probably only charge you like $100 for a single sub enclosure not carpeted. Or get one of these fine companies on the forum to build you one, the shipping just sucks in that sense. Or just start a thread to see if anyone lives in your area that would be willing to help you build a box. Most of the bassheads on here would jump at the chance to help a fellow basshead get loud, lol. Well, goodluck with whatever you decide. First box you build yourself > any prefab!

Been having a hard time locking in a sub stage. Was all set on the AQ HDC312 D2 to run off a MB Quart DSC2000.1D, when I decided that it was not going to be enough. They are great subs that get loud, don't get me wrong. I would recomend them in a heartbeat, but I just don't think I will get what I'm looking for out of them. I am going for a daily ground pounder that gets low, but can still get loud. I believe I have finally found it. Incriminator Audio Death Penalty 12D2 MB Quart DSC2000.1D 2.9^3 Net @ 31Hz This is it! Got everything I am looking for. Killer lows, but still gets loud, and sounds good doing it! You will be glad to know there will be no more this or that threads outa me. for your patience and help. I would just do 30 and 30. Your amp will most likely never see full capacity anyways. And if it does blow, you could just go to 40 and 40. Just my $.02.

Thanks phi. Appreciate the help and info. I just don't think I will be able to get what I'm lookin for out of the HDC312. They are great subs imo if you are lookin for spl, but I want to be able to get low. I think the SX will get me there. I have heard nothing but good things about them. I'm thinking 2.2^3 net tuned to 32Hz. Anyone have input on this. The RE site says 1.0 to 1.25 per sub @ 34 - 35Hz.

BTW it will be the AP30001D for either setup, my mind is set on the amp.
