    2 15" IA Lethal Injections

I spy an Audiopipe box there. Is this what you are powering the subs with, AP15001D maybe? If so, please let us know how they sound. I will be dropping my 2 brand new IA Leathal Injection 12s in next week and will be running them off my AP15001D. Box will be around 3.6^3 tuned around 30-32 Hz. These subs are BEASTS! They look more like 1500 watt rms subs rather than 600 watt rms, imo. Can't wait for my box to be done. Beautiful craftmanship on that box and nice job squeezing it in there. Looked like a tight fit. Can't wait to see some vids of this thing in action. Thanks.

    OldSkool_08's Incriminator and Sundown build.

Sick build bro! How did you like the sound of the IA Leathals? I am about to drop 2 brand new 12s in my car off an AP15001D and have never heard them in person. I like to get low. You think they can do it? My box will be tuned around 30 Hz. Thanks.

  4. OK, first problem I see is OP stated the subs are D2. So with two subs he will either have a .5 ohm final load or 2 ohm final load. We need to find out how his subs are wired and what ohm these amps make their power at. Sounds to me like the original Kenwood was a 2 channel amp that he was bridging at 2 ohms and that is why it was getting hot and going into protect. He most likely would have been fine with this amp if he would have wired each sub at 4 ohms and given them a dedicated channel. Just my $.02.
  5. Beautiful craftmanship sir. You are a wood working wizard!

    Beating on the Z v.2 12"s

My term-lab is on the same computer, lol. Freaked me out for a sec. Impressive numbers btw. Crazy, I thought the Z series where more SQ oriented subs. Looks like they hold their own on the SPL though!

Looking for an amp for BTL 18"

The AP30001D is an Audiopipe, great budget amps, but they make their power at 2 ohms because it is actually 2 AP15001Ds strapped in the same case. So, your sub would have to be a dual 1 ohm or dual 4 ohm to use the amps full potential. I would suggest the MB Quart DSC2000.1D. Great amps do rated power and my boy galacticmonkey just happevs to have two for sale at an awsome price. FS: 2 MB Quart DSC2000.1 - FloridaSPL Good luck.
  8. You have an amazingly awsome $450 sub screwed into a closet door duct taped in a doorway. Your actions have shamed you more than any words I can write. Good luck brother, your in for a hard life if this is the mental capacity you are operating at.
  9. Remove the tampon from your vagina, put on your big boy pants, and grow the f@ck up bro!

    Which AA setup?

With the AQ1200D you will be fine with a D2 sub and a 1 ohm final load. My boy has 2 of the Chaos on 3K amp takin 1500 a piece all day no sweat. I am about to buy one myself, for my brother-and-law's grad present, and run it on an AP15001D at 1 ohm. They are very well built subs and can take the xtra power no problem, just make sure you set your gains correctly. BTW these are awsome subs. Nice choice.

    (2) 18" IA Wardens

Nice bro. Heard you where gonna be at Hialeah with some new ish. Lookin good. Can't wait to see what you got in store for the power. Wish I could make it to the show to see these in person. Incriminator Audio FTMFW!

    hifonics 2010D?

They are good budget amps, but don't expect to get the full 2k out of them. The Brutus amps are a little over rated. If you want a good 2k amp that's not going to cost an arm and a leg, check into a MB Quart DSC2000.1D. You can find them on ebay (sonicelectronix) for $275 shipped. True 2k and a little more. Now, you can also look into the Audiopipe AP18001D. Solid 1800 watts rms at 1 ohm. Great amps only $189 shipped on ebay (I would take this over the BXi2000 any day of the week). You really aren't going to hear the difference in a couple hundred watts. So, any one of those amps will do the trick, with the DSC having the best quality and reliability IMO. Just a matter of what you are looking to spend. Good luck.
  13. Bro, obviously the Sundown is a better amp. But seriously, you are not going to hear any difference between the BXi1600 and the SAZ-1500. The amp you have is fine for that sub. All you need to do, as I told you in your other thread, is learn to set you gains properly. A 1600 watt amp should have no problem running on a stock alternator and a good battery under the hood, so I have no idea why you are thinking that spending a couple hundred on a high output alternator is going to make it sound any better. I'm not trying to down you here bro, but I just think your confused is all. You have had quite a few people tell you the same thing I just did, but apparently you haven't been given the answer you where looking for, so you keep asking the same question in a different way. Bottom line is, no matter how many times you ask the question, the answer is still the same. Believe me, I have done what you are doing. If you would like to spend alot of xtra money for no reason, by all means buy the Sundown. But you have to understand, there will be no audible difference between the two. You do not have to give a sub it's exact rms to get great sound and output from it. And your electrical should be sufficient. Now, it obviously never hurts to upgrade electrical, but don't expect your sub to sound 10 times better just cause you put a $300 alt in your car. Please, just listen to the answer when you ask a question. Don't waste time trying to prove them wrong, or find a loophole that proves your situation is special or different so what they have to say doesn't apply to you. Just take it for what it is and put the information to good use. Bottom line is, if you want to spend alot of money on these upgrades you think you need, shoot me a pm and by all means I will help you find the best deal out there to get what you are looking for. But, if you want to accept some advice and make what you already have sound great then listen to what people are trying to tell. Honestly, these guys have nothing to gain by steering you in the wrong direction or giving you false information. Now, they have told you that box is fine for your sub, so that is good. Sounds to me like you just need to do a thorough check on your wiring and make sure it is all up to par. Then, take the time to learn how to set your gain, sub-sonic filter, and low pass filter. Here is a start: Now, I wish you the best of luck in whatever you choose to do. And please don't think I'm picking on you, I was in your shoes not to long ago and I'm just trying to save you the trouble I went thru. Do yourself a favor and listen to what these good people are telling you.
  14. Bro, I just don't understand you, lol. You have the owner of the company that built the sub and someone who obviously works there and quite a few people who own the sub all telling you that you need to do something to make it sound better and you just blow them off like they have no idea what they are talking about. Like you really know better than the guy who built the sub lulz! Sounds to me like you need to learn how to tune your amp. Subs aren't meant to play that high. I could hear voice in your sub in the video. Not good. And your gain is obviously set to high if you hear distortion in your sub. Either that or your using bass boost or at worst both of these. There is no such thing as underpowering a sub. You can't try to push the amp further than it can comfortably go though. This is when your signal starts clipping, which is the cause of your distortion. But since you are not that much of a noob and got it under control, I'm sure it will work out just fine for you. LULZ.

    Sub Opinion

I have heard a Death Row 12 off about 1200 watts tuned low. Was nasty, sounded good and clean but still got hella loud. Hit a 137.xx at 27Hz that day. Nice for 1 12 tuned that low. If money is not an issue, with the power you have, you might want to look into a Death Penalty. They get LOW but are still nasty LOUD and sound good doing. I was surprised at how musical they are. My mind has been made up since the first time I heard one and I haven't looked back. Gonna throw 3K at a 12, I have a feeling I'm going to be real happy lol. Anyways, good luck with what ever you choose.

    saz 2000?

I have seen the guy on ebay also, supposedly he buys from Jacob and your amp ships straight from Sundown. Those prices where the sale prices from the sale Jacob just had iirc. Why mess with him though when you could buy straight from Jacob, SSA, or DB-R I don't know, lol.

    amp?

So, you decided to get a Brutus? Def a step in the right direction. Brutus > SPL any day. BTW sweet pucking BMW and nice blow thru.
  23. Both great amps, both do rated and a little more, both have warranty, both will get the job done. Tough one, flip a coin. Good luck.
