One of these and one of these in a semi-sealed particle board box that was WAY to big. Run off a Rampage headunit I stole from Autozone and two supertweeters in the front dash for highs. All in my friends mid 80's Olds Cutlas that looked like this Lol, we thought we where hot shit.

This is just the beginning. This truck will be around for a long time, lol. Got plans for a future 4th order wall with all Audiopipe gear. I love seein the look on hater's faces when they hear how good the so called "flea market brands" can sound and perform when put to use in a decent install. First thing I learned about car audio is that it's ALWAYS 10% equipment and 90% install. Can't wait to see what you have in store for yours. Your work is always so CLEAN. I try to keep it decent, but I don't have the patience for detail like you. I just bumble along and let things fall into place on their own. It usually works out, lol.

Ballin On A Budget custom doors ready for mids and highs (Lulz, I know it's ghetto, but will have to do till I can get some pods glassed.)... All gear should be ordered by mid August at the latest. This is going to be a 39.9 bass race budget build. Whole system will be under $1k. 4 HFi12D4's in a BassHeadsEnt.net custom subs up, port back enclosure ~30Hz 2 APSM-1300's strapped at 2 ohms 1 AQX-360.4 4 Pyle PPA6 6" mids 2 Pyle PSN1165 4.35" Square Dispersion Horn Piezo Tweeters 1 Clarion CZ501 for source Stay tuned, will update as progress is made .

Thanks. First Gens are the best and I love the 4.3L Vortecs. It's just a 350 block with the front 2 cylinders knocked off. Has alot of low end with that shift kit in there. Think whatever the tranny came out of was definitely geared higher than this Blazer.

Technically, in a perfect world, 2 12's would have higher spl than 1 15 on same power due to more cone area. But EVERYTHING in car audio is install dependent. You could put the same equipment in two identical cars in two identical builds and get different results. Personally, I have done both and just like a single sub setup better. Trial and error is the game around here.

Plenty of great brands to choose from. You got Fi, Ascendant Audio, Incriminator Audio, DC Audio, Sundown, Skar, SSA, so on and so on. Find one that fits your needs and goals. Personally, with your power and car I would suggest a single 15. Fi SSD 15, AA Chaos 15, Sundown SA-15, IA Leathal Injection 15. Whatever you decide as far as subs, once your ready to consider the enclosure hit up BassHeadsEnt.net, whether you want a design done so you can build yourself or just want them to go ahead and build it to ship out to you they got you covered. Installed Now Kenwood KDC-X493 AP3002 2- Selenium 6w4p's (doors) 2- Vifa 1" Textile Dome Tweets (on caps wired with 6w4p's in doors) 2 - Sony Xplod Something or Other 6x9's (rear deck) 1 - Run of 2/0 from front to back 2/3- Big 3 done (will do alt-batt when I get the HO alt) DB Link 0 AWG 200 amp fuse after front batt 200 amp fuse in back (will be infront of rear batt when it is installed) Coming Soon 1- 2.8^3 @ 36Hz 3/4" Birch Bass Heads Ent. Box (already have) 1- Audiopipe AP18001D (already have, well kinda, currently resides at Value Pawn but will be redeemed soon) 1- Sub (Not at liberty to disclose this information at this time. Rest assured, Epicness will be reached.) 1- 100ah Batt for trunk 1- Maniac Electric Motors 140 amp HO Alt (Don't hate, it's all I can afford, lol) Just got done installing and tuning the front stage, and I must say, this is the best I have EVER made anything sound in my life. I am very proud of this setup/install and will be at the Tampa show Sunday if anyone wants to hear it. Pic/Vids will be up as soon as I have access to a camera. If all goes well, install should be complete for the KOB show in Feb. Side Note- Ordered full Motor/Tranny Mount set today.
