I've had these particular AP tweets before and while I agree they are not going to win any SQ competitions, they aren't bad for the money. Was planning on running Crescendo FT-1's, but they are out of stock.

This is how. Notice their "Partners" list on the left hand side. Same build house. They have a knock off of the AP15001D on their ebay store as well for $10 more. http://www.fsaelectronics.com/caraudio-qad1500.html

Small foot print. Has been clamped and proven to do clean, rated power. Have one on 2 SKar Audio MA-8's and love it. -

Audiopipe APSM series
PHATBOi replied to Mtopper's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
I have used alot of the AP series and loved all of them. I switched to the APSM series due to cost and space issue. Haven't finished building my box yet (actually doing it right now), but when I do I will be running my 2 Skar MA-8's with my APSM-1500. Should be playing tomorrow. Seen the 2K, and plan on running 2 of them on 8 MA-8's when I get my license back and have my own car. (Build I'm doing now is going in the family minivan my girl drives, lol). I was very impressed at the weight and overall build quality of such an inexpensive amp. But it doesn't surprise me, Audiopipe is definitely the leader in the "budget" car audio world. -
Forgot to post this the other night...

FedEx didn't show up till 5:45, so no box build today. But, did get the h/u installed and in the 5 mins I messed around with it I am smitten. Best $80 I've spent in a while! http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Clarion-CZ401-In-Dash-CD-MP3-Car-Audio-Player-w-USB-AUX-iPod-Receiver-/350606267398?forcev4exp=true&forceRpt=true

These woofers are made for small enclosures and putting them in larger enclosures could damage the subwoofer. We recommend not going any larger then 0.75 cubic ft (after subwoofer displacement) for a ported enclosure.

Aight, been playin around with these designs for a few days. Just sat down to redo it cause of where I mounted that amp (needed to shorten up the depth a lil). Took all of a min to come up with this and I love it. This is the box I will be building.

Just waitin on FedEx to get here with the Clarion so I can put it in and go to HD to get the wood and glue to start the box.

Progress.
