I have a 2 channel amp and im tryin to see if I should get a dual 2ohm voice coil or dual 4ohm. How will i be able to wire the subs to get a 2 ohm load to the amp without having both subs connected to eachother
-
ok well how will i wire the subs together if the voice coils are not reachable by each other

I have a Kole 1440 watt class AB 2ohm stable. The subs cant touch because their both in one bx wit separate chambers because the box is ported. I just need to know witch subs to get so that my amp will be OK for a 2ohm load

Get dual 4 ohm subs, wire the coils of each sub in parallel and each sub to it's own channel........that's how you do it. I don't suggest you do it that way but that's how you would accomplish what it is you want to do. what do you suggest then

But If both sides are running at 2ohms aint that a 4 ohm load

I have 2 alpine type R 15's. They are both dual voice coil 4 ohm. I wired them both in parrell to get a 1ohm load to the amplifier. My question is I have a 1500 watt class ab 2ohm stable amp until i can get anotha amp. Can i still hook up my 15's even though it will be 1ohm load.
