[i have 2 15 in bls and the box is tuned to 35 and i rocks on all music jeezy wayne zoe dr dre snoop....but also motley crue metallica kid rock and so on. ive had 4 other boxes and they were tuned to 30, 33 ,35 ,38(different designs so i tried different tuning as well) and i like 35 best

if u have d2's then u would be at 1 ohm if wired parallel so 2 saz1500s amd 2 3512d2 would be optimal

I'm too lazy and don't have a table saw... i have 2 15in bls in my magnum with about 7 cuft total after after port displacement..etc and they sound great so yes there is enough room. and i cant see the top of the box in my rear view and can still see out of all 3 rear windows

im not a fan of kicker amything...ive heard a couple sets of the hdc3s and like em. my friend had a set of cvx 15s and he was always lookin for someone to buy them

lol i did the other day. it was by far the funniest stupidist thing ive ever seen...picture this 87 escort.... walled(kinda) 4 die hard batterieson the floor in the backseat....6 12inch superblues.....6 performance teknique 1500s plywood covering the air holes,,,,not ports air holes. the car had a 600$ 2 way alarm installd at a local shop by me and all the installers just walking out of the back shakin theyre heads and walkin back to the shop. the rear windows were spray paint like a chrome and je had a disco ball hanging were the dome light is. he had speaker wire and some other kind of cable to connect the batterys together. it was ghetto as hell and t answer the question....hell no it didnt sound good Well that's a pretty bad example as to the amps being junk, not that I disagree, but don't knock Superblues, they'll surprise you. Richard Clark used to defend the hell out of them back in the day. yeah i know it was a bad example....but DAMN it was funny...btw it didnt sound good and it was funny it was up there with the "roof of boom" (google it if u dont know)

i just finished my new box for my magnum the 1st one has subs up port up the new is subs and port to the rear and this is the better sounding of the 2 and it actually sounds like its a different set up. ive always had the best luck with subs and port to the rear.

i have a posting on craigslist for a set of 15 inch btls....the guy said he competes and he was lookin for some heavy duty subs. then he askd if i still had the the FEE BEATLES (fi btls) in case ur slow and dont get it haha

i like the sundown i had the rf 1500 and it seemed like it centered its output around like 40hz. i had it powering 3 10w3s it didnt sound to good. i switched to a jl 1000/1 and it was like i had a whole different setup in there. now i use sundown and im done changin amps Sounds like a box, tuning issue or you were using bass boost if it centered in that frequency (it wasnt the amp). no it wasnt a box or tuning or bass boost issue....the boost was never used and the jl amp and the sundown made the subs rock acrossed all frequencys the rockford didnt and it was at 1.33ohms so it was gettin the power

i picked up a ho alternator from a place i think in st louis called nation alt for another car and it was decent but i see alot of people use powermaster. are powermaster alternators worth the price and does anyone know what the prices are i have an 07 magnum 3.5v6...i know but i got a great price on it and couldnt pass it up

u got so far off the subject because u dont agree with what i like way ta go like i was saying ...if ur gonna use rockford use the t400.2 the 400.4 does 60x4@4ohm and 100x4@2 where the 400.2 does 200x2@2ohms or 120x2 @4

What I think isn't funny is that you haven't experienced the other, but know which is best. Not a good way to make decisions in life. i never said that ive never experienced it the other way...i did for many years but now i prefer rears

dont get me wrong im sure having a lower quality rear fill isnt helpin "improve" sq but i have a large car and kids. the kids watch movies and stuff in the rear and get to hear what there watchin. if i watch movies the surround sounds great. i dont compete...i like loud well rounded music and havin a good rear fill is what my car needs. when i had my focus hatchback i used 3 sets of 6.5 in jl components in custom pods in the front doors and a boston sl80 in the rear and noone knew they were there except my kids. so i some cases i agree

i use sundown and love em....but if rockford is what u want use the t400.2 its more power then the 400.4. lots of people dont like to use rear fill but i have to have it...the car seems incomplete without cause i always have the thought in my head of what would it sound like if i added this or that. when i replace my rears i stopped building onto the fronts which now consists of 4 6.5 inch jl xr comps per door all 4 tweeters on the winshield pillar and a focal poly 4in coax in the dash of my magnum. i had a pod built in the rear door for a 6.5 in coax and there is a 6x9 in the rear factory locaton.....i should have just added rears

i have a set of btl 15s and a set of bl 15s. im also using the saz2k. on a term lab i lost dbs using the btls because there wasnt enough power. if u go with 1 btl it'll be good but if u use any other fi sub 2 is a good match

what does everyone think about running 3 vlx400s on 6 15 inch incriminator death penaltys. clam shelled in a suburban ext. use all 3 amps or only 2?

i have a dodge magnum. i see alot of people building boxes that have the subs firing up and the port towards the rear. ive never heard a car/truck with the box like that. ive always used rear face rear firing boxes. is there a difference? is it noticable if so?
