Hmm, I didn't know that. Good info to have. Actually not really good info to have unless clarified. You'd be shocked at how many amplifiers on the market are bulit that way, hell you'd be shocked alone at what percentage of the car audio amplifiers out there were designed by about 5 different people. Most internet companies just cheapen these designs up by utilizing sub par part parts to come in at a price point to sell. Those amps regularly have some forum boner noob following when they come out, but after a while people realize what is actually going on. The Sundowns are not designed per se by Jacob, but they are built to his specifications. I'd MUCH rather have the same design built with good parts versus something built with inferior parts. The quality of the build also is a HUGE influence on the end quality of the amplifier. In the case of Sundown again he picked a good build house to do business with. That's even better. Thanks.

Wierd, there's no snow here (north of Boston).

Looking good.

Are there any differences between the D3400 and the S3400 besides the steel case? The 3400 series fits into my stock battery tray and will be powering a 1400 watt rms system that could get upgraded to a 2400 watt rms system.

Repeat those in a british accent and they seem much more funny (well to me they do).

So you're saying a company like Sundown don't actually design their own amplifiers.
-
We cant do that. It is application specific and the manual is huge. Ohh, a download maybe? What application do you need to know the BCI group for? I was thinking more for just general information. Having that kind of info is handy.

If they change it to a 2 liter of Orange Soda I'm in! It sounds tasty Make it purple drink and I'm in. lol.

xs power's website clearly states that the s3400 has a steel case. But they do appear to be the same battery, I just had to make sure.

As the title says, I have like 22 invitations for google wave. If anyone wants one, just let me know. If you don't know what google wave is, it's kind of like email, instant messaging, and a forum wrapped into one. One really cool thing about it is, is that you can actually watch someone responding to a message because it constantly streams updates. It's still in the beta phase and takes a little getting used to but I found that once you get it, it ends up becoming a very useful tool.

Thanks for that.

haha thanks. but yea one thing i hate is when people think they're better than others. oh, and #999 Yeah it's definitely annoying. And this is one of my favorite vids, kinda old but funny none the less. Fixed

nice choice in vids barber. I'll admit that I was a bit of an S.Meade fan too but I got wise real quick.

I'm done with math after this thank god. Since my last lecture, things have started making a lot more sense. I can actually follow what the professor is doing on the board instead of just taking mindless notes.
-
So I'm currently taking differential equations and it is quite possibly THE most difficult and confusing course I have ever taken. Are there any engineers/math majors out there that have any tips on getting through this course?

This build is amazing. If you're ever up around Boston, let me know cause I gotta hear this.

PM me your email address.

What are you thinking of for the new design?

Already happening... Z v.2 and NS v.2 are coming out -- need to handle that first Right, I read somewhere that you wanted to design a 1000rms sub and like a 300rms sub. 1000 and 400 respectively. Working on those projects too. Sweet and that's a sexy looking board.
