Help with my BLs, NO SOUND :-(

So I finally had finished my box, got my amp and my subs came, I was just waiting for the opportunity to install I got it all hooked up and no sound... After some trouble shooting- I hooked up an old amp and speaker to make sure all my power stuff was ok and my head unit was providing signal and so my old amp and speaker worked fine... So I replaced the amp thinking that was the problem and I am still having the same issue... So either there is a problem with my two BLs, a wiring issue, or an amp settings issue... Heres the specs on my system I hope you guys can shed some light on my situation... Thanks 2 10 in FiBL 1 Ohm DVC Hifonics BXI 2608D Kenwood DNX 5120 Headunit Stinger 0 awg amp kit 10 awg stringer wire for speaker wire I have the subs wired for 1ohm (see diagram) Here is a link to the amp specs- Hifonics BXi2608D Amp: Mono - Car Amplifiers at Onlinecarstereo.com Headunit info- http://www.crutchfield.com/S-PBWH9G80kxB/p_113DNX5120/Kenwood-DNX5120.html

Did you have to do anything special to make the wires fit into your subs or amp? like trim off some of the fibers or anything?

    Tuning for 2 10in BLs

Im currently using the RE Enclosure calculator (http://www.reaudio.com/speaker_box/LPort_Box_Calc.html) and after putting in the dimensions I can fit in my trunk and Im playing around with port size and what not and I was curious, the "tech" section on the Fi site says the recommended tuning is 33hz, I can only get my box to fit if I tune it around 34hz, is this an issue? would it be better to be lower than ideal if you cant get the ideal 33hz like 32hz instead... Or am I not even gonna notice? Also, again refering to the "tech" section, for the 10s it recommends 15 square inches of vent per cubic foot of air space, is it a major issue if I can only work around 12 square inches? Specs for the box for two 10in Fi Bls Air space after woofer displacement: 2.475 Cubic Ft Square Port Area: 31.25 Tuned Frequency: 33.79hz Good enough? Also side question, is there any disadvantage to having it built with the universal option as opposed to not?

    Plexi or Lexan

The window is gonna be 12x24... I cant seem to find 3/4 inch Lexan but 3/4 Plexi is around the same price as 1/2 in Lexan so im up in the air still

    Plexi or Lexan

Im building an enclosure for 2 12 BLs with 2500w RMS and I want to put a window in the back, Im not sure what the best material to use is, Ive heard different things but it seems my two options are 3/4inch Plexiglass or 1/2inch Lexan... Which is better?
