Its a gun. A 1911 will run flawlessly if kept in the original form and not with nutso tight tolerances, you start straying from that and you will have issues. A XD, Glock, HK, insert quality firearm will not have problems if kept maintained and quality ammo fired through it. Sure, everything has problems, but most people never put more than say 1000 rounds through one.

Whole lot of money that I wouldn't spend on one. What do you want to do with said pistol? There is no definitive advantage of .40 or .45 over 9mm USING PROPER MODERN HOLLOW POINTS. Now that being said, what caliber are you looking for?

Its perfectly acceptable to be an older beer drinking gentleman shooting in the olympics. Thats one of the great things about shooting, anyone can do it, don't have to be in the top .5% of body type to be able to be a world champion.

That has to be the only time in the history of the universe that phrase will be typed or spoken. LOLI'm sure you have somewhere in several orders of magnitude more shooting experience. I'm still learning. Then I should quit. This shit takes too long to learn.:-D I do enjoy talking to one of my friends who makes me look like a complete amateur, it seems he picks up a new sport every time I talk to him. One day it was Palma rifle matches, started winning those, then it was silhouette pistol matches, etc, etc. I'm waiting for him to make the Olympic team to give me an excuse to go. Or if I just got off my ass and started training again, I could go for free.

Sounds like a bitch of a process just to get some mounting holes in the metal. Perhaps I'll order a precut circular target, and then look for some firehose. Always easiest to order precut pieces, get them small enough so they fit in the USPS flat rate boxes too. Its the best way to get steel shipped. Or find what you want in a target package and just buy it, I don't think the folks who do the steel targets make a bunch of money doing it, to many people out there.

I'll give you a hint... Welding chain isn't the best idea in the world. Welding will leave a heat affected zone and soften up the AR500 there, and if you hit the chain the target falls. A longer lasting idea is old fire hose, rubber belting, or anything else that you can mount and poke holes in without the target falling. Bolt holes/tabs cut with a water jet is the best way to deal with AR or any heat treated plate as opposed to a plasma or thermal process.
-
Was the plate fixed or allowed to swing? You do need AR500 or AR400 plate. AR stands for Abrasion Resistant.

A guy at work got his '10 f-250 on the dyno, 535hp and 810ftlb. Not bad for bolt ons, diesel of course.

My fathers favorite song, "Much to young to feel this damn old." The longer that goes by the more I relate to that.

I haven't gotten a good night sleep in the last five nights at the hotel, got woken up every hour to three hours. So looking forward to my own bed tonight.

Isn't that the truth.

Now if that doesn't perfectly summarize life.... I saw that today and thought it was fitting. The other one I saw was "1/3 of my pay is for the work I do, the other 2/3rds is for dealing with the people"

''Sorry son, but we're always in the s***, it's only the depth that varies.''

Except on new fords, their retarded bedrail design makes it so if you remove the caps you have gigantic holes across the length of the bed.
-
Bed liners here run 500$ for whatever kind you want. I'd recommend Line-X as well.

Damn that's cheap. I paid 150 for 70 in a 60.

The stinking hospital blocks quite a few websites, firearm websites, forums like offtopic.com, etc.

Doesn't look like it this year, going to be in Georgia and Florida, but no MN.

I tried to buy your 2496...but the miniDSP's have now replaced that thought. Yea... Not even sure where the 2496 is at the moment, just know it exists. I need to finally pull the PS out and list it up for sale somewhere. Want an ART SLA-1 rack amp for a 880?

Hmmmm cordless tools........always needed around here. J Older milwaukee set, 18v NiCad older batteries but hold decent charge. Sawzall, skill saw, flashlight, and drill. Drill has the most use on it and is a little rough but still keeps on going like a champ, skill saw and sawzall are in good shape.

I have a QSC CX 1.0HV for lower power stuff sitting collecting dust, along with an ART SLA-1 amp, Behringer preamp, fuctional but kinda junky, DCX2496 blown with a good 12v power supply, some misc car audio stuff, and a set of 18v Milwaukee cordless tools that I should sell.

If you need more power Sean I have a QSC CX 902 I could loan you. 2kw at 8ohm.
