I will be polite and not post the photos of me in shorts and sandals. No one needs to see the sun reflectors known as my white ass legs. Didn't know we'd end up at the beach that day, was just planning on wandering around the town.

That is what it is all about, the sooner you mentaly get there the more fun and relaxed you will be. Didn't get to eat any conch. Didn't find anywhere to eat it in time. Had some local fish at one place, but no conch.

If you want to see nicer jewelry stores go to Grand Cayman. Years ago maybe you could save some money, but today it is rather rear you find a hidden deal in the islands. If you are going for liquor St. Thomas was the island of choice. The last time I was there most rums were under $10 a liter. Where did you go snorkling at in Nassau, close to port? One of the reefs on about the other side of the island from port I think. Saw some sea turtles, eels, couple dozen kinds of fish, floated around for an hour looking at stuff.

Took a boat tour around Norwegians private island, chased some sting rays, a shark, they told us about the island, the trees/bushes, living on the islands, pulled some conch shells up, sea stars, etc. Then found a lawn chair, plopped my ass in the ocean and drank beer.

I was surprised that I didn't feel anything was cheap. Some of the liquor was cheaper, but others wasn't any cheaper than I can buy here in town and didn't see much of anything I couldn't get here. The jewelry stores I thought were really expensive, and nothing that good looking that I saw. I figured it was the 'Oh we are tax/duty free, everything is CHEAP' mentality. We went snorkeling off of Nassau, that was great.

I was surprised at the watch dealers in every port. Do people actually go there and drop that much coin?

How was it? An absolute blast. Loved it.

Heck I wore boots in the islands, sandals just when drinking on the beach.

Working with Bettis?

Sure, but not on the boat. At his house. Our lake is a little bit different than most you picture. Nearly 200mi of shoreline... Which lake so I can check it out, sure sounds huge. Lake Minnetonka.

Holy crap. I'm not even sure 'boat' is the proper term. Floating luxury lounge for the high rolling rich folk?

The powder thrower metered fine for me on pistol rounds. It'd probably be fine for precision rifle rounds, just use a trickler on last few tenths.
-
Used it before, didn't have it on hand though.

I had one, not a bad way to get started on the cheap.

I knew I forgot something! On a serious note, couldn't you apply a light layer of resin, and paint over. I imagine that being a lot easier then bare mdf. Sanding sealer and poly is my go to.

I knew I forgot something!

Oh I do hate sealing MDF for paint.

I see my genere doc this week and am making an apt with a rheumatologist just in case. They schedule 6 months out here... Don't take no/deal with it for an answer at all. If they say RA, get Remicaid, it'll take a bit for insurance to cover it at 3,700$ an infusion but I've seen it work miracles on the W.
-
Dude, go get it checked out. Its not normal and don't accept 'Oh, you have RA, its normal' as an answer. We heard 'Oh, you have RA, just deal with it' from more than one doctor/rheumatologist which is total bullshit. Yep, she had RA, but as a side effect of Crohns. Now that its figured and and on the right medicine, its totally different and the days where it hurts to move and unable to dress oneself haven't happened again. Now have some side effects of the drugs to deal with, but the lesser of the evils.

As long as it goes away.

The couple times I've rode snowmobiles I thought it was the most fun one could have in that terrible season with your clothes on. Nothing like blasting across places at 60+mph on snow where roads don't exist.
