    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

The case in question has never even left the building by the time they shattered the handle.

One of our professors has taken to Fed-Ex'ing a Storm case with a 50kip loadcell, indicator, and LVDT checker/micrometer stem assembly. I'm waiting for it to come in with a hole through it. It weighs 35lbs and he doesn't want to check it or carry on to planes.

My memory is very weird. I remember all the silly details but I went to the gym today and I forgot to take my wallet to get some money from an ATM. And I forgot to take some from the ATM at work. I can't believe it Mines similar I just fail on names. I can remember what some random item in the shop was used for 4 years ago, but what I did 2 days ago? Shit.....

So I've got some guys here at work that broke the handle on a small Pelican case, didn't realize it was possible.

Who was it over in Europe that had a hatchback with SI Mags in it that was getting just stupid loud numbers at super low frequency, something all the way down to 15Hz maybe? He posted here 3? years ago.

Just finally read the prior page and see Peng doesn't need epoxy, more of a talk in theory. My vote is get a competent person to look at it for you to find that basement leak, finding said competent person though isn't easy. Water finds the funniest places to seep through. We have a moist room that is 73*F and 100% RH at all times, basically a fog room. To get the leaks to stop we let it dry for two months, lined the whole damn thing with FRP, caulked the hell out of stuff, and put stainless flashing going from wall to the floor and the floor is epoxy coated. Haven't had a drop outside of those walls for 3 years now.

Do NOT use on a vertical surface and on cracks larger than 1/4" Here's another hint too. If you have a deep crack, take one of those foam pool noodles and cut it to fit down in the crack before filling. It will keep the filler from cracking and aid in expansion and contraction. Talk to Ryan about concrete, he knows all about that shit. So that crack filler has the same size limitations as sealant? Bummer. Pretty much the only thing to use is injectable epoxy, but it's not cheap, and if you find it cheap, don't waste your money. A pretty good epoxy you could find local is from Fastenal. Its their Rock River 300 Plus 2 part epoxy, it is a rebranded Unitex ProPoxy 300 A-B Fast Set. Its a 4000psi structural epoxy, good stuff. Looks like our local Fastenal store sells it, if you can get them to sell the individual tube it is 40$ for an 8.5oz tube. How much do you need?

If they are .50bmg it would be about 118 grams a round so......2300-2400 kilos? Don't know if that math is right, but I agree with Ryan, if that were full that truck wouldn't be able to move.

I've got a set of Timberlands on my feet right now. I had to buy some safety toe shoes for a plant in Tucson that I was working in, local place sold these with a 30-day money back return policy if I didn't like them. I got the low top ones since I'm not working in the weeds/fields anymore and I love them. If I need taller boots, I throw the danners on, but for day to day stuff my feet have been living in the Timberlands since December.

Just realized I have a phone that'll have an app so found one, but after initial testing this will be a piece of equipment that is standalone so I'll have to have a permanent solution. I'll be powering this thing off of a personal QSC rack amp for starters, so I can pull in a preamp I have floating around but if this works I will buy new equipment for this that takes up less space than 4 rack units.

So, who has a good idea solution for a cheap signal generator for 50-350Hz sine wave to output into an amplifier without having to pull a computer in with the setup.

What SB lathe? I've got two of them here a heavy 10 and a 14.5", I would love to get a real one and ditch the SB's but its hard to get money justified for lathes when down the hall he charges me 60$/hr for CNC work.

16 plain holes, 16 tapped holes, 4 countersunk holes, set screws included, and an engraving on top, 120$ seems pretty damn fair to me. I sure wouldn't do it for less than that. If you are serious about getting some made, PM me some specifics.

120$? What do you want? 10$ if you already have the material, taps, and drills maybe...
