6.5" was to big for his lathe? Really??????
-
I know an engineer at Pella's custom plant... Prices get somewhat outrageous on some of their stuff.
-
I've got lathes, but only 5k miles away. How big is the part?
-
The '60 is sexy, but damn, I love those trucks.
-
Same here. Thankfully winter is over this season finally.

7/8"? You need a O2 sensor socket, flare nut wrench, or a crow foot. . A box end wrench will be easiest on his truck. Trust me, I just pulled them off mine two weeks ago. I shiver at remembering my Cadillac 02 sensors... Its a 7/8" wrench though isn't it, I've got like 5 in my tool box, O'Reillys, Napa, Sears, Menards, Home Depot, should all have one.

Get the stoker instead.

I may play around with keeping a nice low temp this week and get a big brisket for the weekend I'd start with some pork shoulder, pork is rather forgiving. Even if you blow the temp for a bit, it'll still come out really tasty.

I've never had a problem getting smoke, it seems to just roll smoke for the first couple hours. I cheat the stabilize time, start, get it up to temp, throw the smoke wood on, then toss the meat. I throw the meat in with a cold egg and smoke for as long as possible and haven't had a problem with temp overshoot yet. No one said it was a smart idea though.

Just sell that damn money pit.

At first I thought it was a spam bot post.

Bull shit. No such thing.

I pull the remainder of the charcoal out, pull the bottom grate up, push the clogged holes out with my finger then scoop out the bottom through the door with the little bent stick tool. It takes all of less than 5 minutes.
-
Shows my ignorance, it seems they already exist.
-
Make sure the vent holes in the bottom are clear, and don't forget to burp it or you'll loose arm hair/eyebrows. I've thought that a stainless steel basket that fits in the firebox of the Egg and stays in there so I could lift my charcoal out and clean the holes out would be nice. Not exactly a fine mesh basket, but something so I could pick all the charcoal out in one swoop, clean the ash and holes out, then put the still good charcoal back in would be nice. I'm sure high heat cooks would cause issues, but for normal mid range and low temps I think it'd be nice.

Um, that part he did right 100 -100 = 10^2 - 10^2 = (10+10)*(10-10) = 10*10 - 10*10 + 10*10 - 10*10 Getting confused? x^2+y^2 = (x+y)*(x-y) Rofl. For some reason I thought there was a subtraction between (x+y) (x-y). Once again, reading a sign that wasn't there pwned me.
-
Last I checked, 10^2 was (10*10), not (10+10) or (10-10), but humorous non the less.

I think the longest I've gone without going to work has been ~10 days for my wedding/honeymoon.

Garage? You don't need no stinking garage. I am getting tired of working on vehicles outside though.
-
Garage? That is not for storing vehicles. That is for a machine shop and crap. The Chevelle lived/lives in there, but it'll probably be sold this summer.
-
Looking good.

Good to hear! So what is the treatment? Antibiotics, same thing I found out last week.
-
Haven't seen the bill yet, but I'm sure its the hospital who got the happy ending.

Lay on a table, get some goo put on your nuts and wait around while they wave the wand over them for awhile.
