Yep, its fudgeed. one coil works, but when you play it, it scratches like no other. Now the question turns into what to do with a blown 8?
-
Didn't you just get your flatcone??
-
How would the assassin 8 compare to the e8a? this pisses me off, first my woofer coil craps out, then I lok down and my pucking timex watch just busted (its like 2 weeks old) DAMNIT Its been a crappy day.

16 blocks isn't bad, but it isn't the best movie either...
-
No kiddin, I just got my dorm equipment setup the way I want it. Now I see those assassin woofers at 55 a piece, want those. Need to buy 4 extremis, and the list goes on and on and on and on.

Question for ya'll I think I'm gonna start competitng in Street Beat this summer with a guy i know. I will be using 2 kicker cvr's 10"s (cause I have them, thats the only reason I'll be using them). Which would be better, decware Wicked One, or a very good ported box. I might also be using a Type R in a TCAB box (yikes....) cause the guy I will be competing with is probably gonna get one for chits and giggles kinda. Since he is using his APX, he can't use the TCAB (plus, its a truck box, and well, I have a truck) Your opinon, Wicked one for the CVR's or a good ported?

Hypothetically, if ya know, there wasen't a business arrangement and everyone was sitting around drinking beers talking. Now remember, hypothtically speaking, what you say to the question of is she hot? lol

Pffft. 7hrs+ to colorado (and another 7+ back) all my my lonseome with nothing but AM radio part of the way... Done that multiple times.

The opposite is true for me and my dad. I'll do the woodworking, he'll do the electrical. Dad even admits I'm a better wood butcher than he is... Which is a good compliment in itself.

And also, with the sander its pretty easy to round over the edges where you don't want it, it dosen't happen with a router.
-
Its slicker than chit though, just chuck it in the router, flip the switch, make a few passes and its nice again. Oughta look into one, pretty nice bit to have.
-
http://www.rockler.com/product.cfm?page=11...20router%20bits FTW!
-
Yes, keep it inverted. That looks pretty sweet too.
-
Router works better. Pretty hard to mess it up using a router too.
-
I don't have the room for a ported box right now.... Maybe next year.
-
I was amazed at how this little e8a sounds sealed. I was also amazed on how it jumps around.... All that power dosen't help either.... lol

Double post for me

I'm not near as worried about the ugliness anymore as finding enough weight to put on top of it. That thing bounces around like a mofo!!
-
Naa, the plywood is good the way it is currently, The previous use is the reason why it is bowed in the middle, the Behringer amp isn't putting any weight really in the middle. All the wieght is carried by the knee braces and the 2x4 loft construction. Its sturdier than it looks

Holy Crap! That is AWSOME! That thing is NICE, the install and the truck.

My roommate thinks its kina excessive.... I don't play it too loud when hes in here, but when he leaves all hell breaks loose, and for the most part, we like the same types of music, which is good.
