I still say a P&S will be more than sufficient for the W's needs. I've got a Sony HX9 that works great, think the HX10v is out now. No point in dropping money on a camera if it ends up staying at home because its to big to carry and you use your phone. And as always, its the indian, not the arrow.

Or Just pour it with ~7,000+ psi concrete to begin with and no sealing required.
-
For shit that needs sealed, we normally use a 2 part epoxy paint from Sherwin Williams, 50$ or so a gallon, need both parts, good stuff. Its what they use to paint the inside of potable water tanks I think.

Loved our cruise, wasn't that expensive either. Take that woman on a honeymoon, hell even its 3 days in a nice hotel/town or spa somewhere you haven't been before.

Defeats the purpose. Point & shoot or DSLR. Of course the caveat being if you can live with a single prime. Can you go into detail more on living with a single prime? Wife already is balking on the idea because we don't "need" one for what we do. Drop ~500$ or so on a point and shoot and be happy. New P&S cameras are seriously good.

They make addmixtures for concrete to set up under water, its really neat stuff, it chemically binds the water to the cement. I wouldn't expect to find it anywhere local though.
-
I'm assuming this is a poured concrete foundation? Not a laid up stone?
-
Another option is two pieces of plywood, one on each side of the foundation, long bolt through them both, bolt them tight to the wall, caulk between the board and the wall and you are set for a few days. You aren't looking for a permanent repair, or even a temporary one, you just want to keep water out. If it was me though, I'd just tape that thing up with some Gorilla tape, and put some plywood around it to divert most of the water away, heck even dig a little trench in the ground to give it somewhere to go to away from the hole.
-
If you can get to the outside, just tape the hole up. Its just really good duct tape is all it is. I'd get a piece of plywood in the hole, then tape the whole thing, 1/3 overlap, probably extend the tape 6" around the hole.
-
Gorilla tape. Seriously.
-
Holy fuck! How did you NOT notice the hole? The previous owner used silicone to fill it, then used a urethane paint covering. Just looked like a thicker than normal silicone coating. Once I started peeling it back I noticed how thick it was all the way down the driveway. I got to the corner and started scraping it and out popped a huge chunk. Least you found your leak source.

Kreg pocket screw jig is good stuff.

I'm going to give up on technology one of these days, just go off the grid and be happy.

Soon of a bitch. This damn phone. Sorry Matt, I just deleted your post. One damn button on this little sticking screen.

Got the fuel pump wiring harness spliced back together on the Buick, wasn't to hard. Got the car running in short order unfortunately didn't have electricity for a soldering job but splices and liquid tape sealant and taping them up out of the way.

Friends visiting up from lsu blew a tire, shredded the inner fender well and ripped out some fuel pump wiring. Get to load up some tools and make an hour trek over to Salina to fix it this morning.
