a whole lot better than a 81 Yep, but this one is still ugly
-
Got the year wrong, it would be an 82 Z28. Turd Brown.

i like your thinking the saying is that the only way to make those cars fast is displacement No replacement for displacement... A friend has a ~81 Z28 sitting around that packrats ate the wiring on so all that its good for now is a shell basically. We've got a 454 and a Turbo 400 sitting in a truck in the windbreak that ran when it was parked there, I think a little work and she'd run again. I'm going to be bored as hell this summer working at home and I want a project so I don't just sit on my ass and watch TV, theres only so many speaker designs I can build, plus all those speakers get expensive. Plus I want to go fast quite frankly. I want something I can go out, beat the utter chit out of and not feel bad about. Sad to say but it would probably be the fastest thing around too. and if I break the rear axle, we've got a Dana 60 rear end too. Not sure how well one of them would fit in a 'maro though.

I want to put a BB in a 3rd gen camaro. It'd be one ugly SOB, but I bet it would flat out move.

I would flunk that worse than this cac test.

Well, I didn't get chit done working on Calculus tonight, test tuesday, guess I know what I'll be busting my ass on tommorow.

Some dude on the "other" site wants me to build him some sealed 3/4" MDF boxes (no finish, I will NOT finish in carpet any box and sell it, I'm not good enough at that) ideas on how much I should quote him? I also feel like I should charge more since I Hate working with MDF.
-
If I build that will you by the drivers and do the crossover work??
-
Hmmm, how do the high end speaker manufactures fix this problem? Are there pictures anywhere of insides of B&W enclosures or anything like that?
-
*cliff notes* Put a bunch of wavy chit on the inside of the enclosure to screw up chit*
-
Your driving halfway across the damn country, what'd ya expect Also, I've got an idea to eliminate back waves in home audio enclosures. I have no idea if this has been implemented before, I assume it has since there isn't much anymore that hasn't been done in some way or another. Basically, you cut a stack of MDF with a sine wave in it that oscillates about 2-3" and then line them in the back, staggered, so that the backwave from the speaker never hits a flat surface and disperses randomly... Any idea if this would work or if its been done? *Not sure if I explained that well or not*

Any idea what timeframe you'll be in KC? I have to buy tickets this week sometime, but I will let you know. I may reschedule that lag though so I go down to Wichita as well. I really need to make some visits there. Depending on when your in the state I'll probably be free to roadtrip down to where you are.

Explains your comments in the Challenger thread LOL

Don't bother wasting time with idiots. Some people just don't appreciate knowledge.
