Oh god, when I lived in Chicago a $250 weekend was cheap. A couple weeks ago I dropped around $600 in one outing, "wine sale" my arse. You've got more money than me... Plus thank god this isn't chicago... I'm looking at the 600-1k I've spent on alcohol so far this year and I'm tinking what audio stuff I could have bought with that....

I haven't done anything else with them, other than what you already see in the pictures I posted? I need to get some prices on plywood before I do anything else... I want you to build some enclosures... F' plywood, go hardwood.

I'm a sucker for all black man, really I am. The next set I build will probably be stained, using MDF and veneer. Birch really isn't stain friendly, it tends to come out blotchy. Man after my own heart... What you really need to do is some hardwood TM boxes, some nice Walnut would look excellent. I'm a sucker for walnut...

The VC is part of the recone, its a package deal.

Changing the impedance of the coils involves physically reconing the subs. So everytime you would want to change the coil config you would have to recond the sub. If I remember how the system works you can't just pick and swap to different coil configs unless you have the universal option... I could be wrong on that one though.

I'm sure you've got something in that audio closet of yours that he would want...

My schedule next year is all f'ed up. Calc III (hopefully), Engg Physics II, and a couple easy classes. Can't take chit in engineering other than calc and EP, everything else I need to take you need the calc and physics as a pre-rec.

Now with all those nice vehicles in there why do they have a late 70's chevy pickup??
