Sean, an FYI if you come to Kansas sometime in the next month. All my stereo gear will be gone this weekend and won't be setup untill June 1 when I'm in the house in Manhattan, anytime after June 1 I'll be flip-flopping back between home and manhattan so if your in the area sometime after June 1 I'll be around.

Did not realize that with digitals, my main camera is/was a Canon AE-1, old school film goodness My first SLR was an A-1, I loved that thing. Well, if you have Canon lenses already, might as well go with that... I miss my Contax and Zeiss stuff I don't have any new Canon lenses, just the old school stuff that won't work on the new bodies.

It will pass both ways but in certain optical cables the ends are different by just a slight bit so the connection willnot take and henceforth not transmit light. Also fiber optics SUCK to make new ends for. J

Why would the end matter in optical cables? Doesn't light work the same no matter which end of the cable it starts at? *goes to google my question*

Its the difference between cable and satellite, cable only has 25 channels of crap, while satellite has 100+.

The local tube guy with the Big ass tube amps said he got a projector just so people take him serious and don't think he's an f'ing idiot.

I've given up for now. It's just too dumb. The last time I was logged on, it was to ban two douchecicles that had an attitude with me on AIM, and the lazy prick who never sent me an Ipod for doing his work for him. I might post on there again later this summer, just to shut up the 60" plasma-and-cube-speaker-crowd that complains I never post pictures of my setup. You never got the ipod? WTF? The 60" plasma crowd is rather lame.
