Like Jim said you can build it out of anything. I've built hardwood, birch, and MDF boxes. The advantage of MDF is that a sheet only costs ~20bucks while a good piece of BB ply is ~70.

I'll admit it, I love this ass.

I wish I could ... my allergies prevent that. So, I just do a bunch of the mechanical & electrical repairs when I am home. Always seems to be a 2 page list of things to do when I get there You are the first person I know that has any real problem with allergies that lives/lived on a farm. You unlucky fella Grain dust... a terrible thing. Indeed.

I just want to smack my cousin sometimes. I've grown up helping on the far, basically on 24hr call anytime I am home. While my cousin on the other had has grown up on a farm, not doing much at all if anything. He won't even learn to run the f'ing planter right now to help his old man out for a couple of hours... Lazy pucker. Maybe its just around here, but if you live on a farm, you should work on the farm atleast part of the time during planting/harvest to help the old man out...

Speaking of vehicles, it is looking like it might be time to take out a little bigger student loan and buy myself a newer truck. My s-10 has had a HARD life and it seems to be on its last leg.

He apparantly isn't holding his mouth just right and needs a bigger hammer.

Why would you say that one amp to those two subs is going to make it sound slow, weak, and booming? The amout of power to the sub will not affect its sound reproduction capabilities, just its output capabilities. IIRC keeping the same power but doubling the effective cone area theoretically yields a 3dB increase in output potentional too.

And with that I'm retiring for the evening, later ya'll.

Ok, so Sven and Ollie had just lost their jobs and were walking to the unemployment office... *This is a lot better when told by a big swede in person...* Sven goes in and the woman at the desk asks what Sven did at his job, so Sven tells her that he sewed the elastic on the top of the underware. She goes and looks it up in her book and gives Sven 200$, so he leaves and Ollie goes in. Ollie goes in and the woman says "Ollie, what did you do at your job" Ollie looks at here and then says "I'm a Diezel fitter." The woman looks it up in her book and then gives Ollie 600$. Ollie rather pleased with himself goes out and tells Sven how much he got, upon hearing this Sven storms in there and demands an explanation on why Ollie got so much more. The woman looks at Sven and said, "Ollie is a Diesel fitter, that is a very skilled job". Sven looks at her for a littl bit then bursts out "NO DAMNIT, HE TAKES THE UNDERWARE AFTER I SEW THE ELASTIC ON IT AND PUTS THEM OVER HIS HEAD AND SAYS "THESE WILL FIT HER!" Ok, that came from my high school wood shop teacher, who had LOTS of lame jokes, including quite a few elephant ones...

That reminds me of a swedish joke.

I'm all for mudding, its just the fact that when I go mudding, chit breaks, then I have to fix it that really turns me off to mudding in anything that we own or that I have to fix. But it is a hell of a fun time
-
Buy 'em Jim, send them to me to run my new Maggies.

The good majority of the mudding I've done was turning down a road, then going "Awww chit, I forgot there it isn't maintaned for the middle 3/4 mile... fudge" Then proceding to drop it into 4x4 and point the wheels in the right direction and stab the fuel. Ahhh the times when I got melon sized mud clumps on the roof of the cab... Thought I was gonna get stuck that day...
