Don't you just hate that

Hows life for ya Tom? Currently re-drawing plans for an entertainment center, had plans drawn up and they got lost. This is getting built out of 3/4" BB ply, the goal is somewhat light durable as hell, and if something happens to it I don't give a crap. Room for 12rack spaces and two 5" tall shelves 40" wide, should fit all my crap.

Blah, I should have never came home to work part of the summer.

Hell no, this was a pain in my ass. I will make anything but these. I'm not entirely happy with the way this turned out but Mom likes it. Okay I need 2 ported speaker boxes. One ported to about 37htz to fit in an explorer for 4 SSA iCON 10"........another to fit 2 15" Juggy's.......same size requrements and tuning. J I need plans.

Grain runs verticle and the top is all endgrain. Thanks for all the compliments guys.

That should work alright, 2ft^3 seems a little on the small side though to me. Yes with Dual 4's you can run at either 2 or 8ohms

It is heavy enough, and ya know, it would work pretty well.

I think it might be time for a new hard drive in my computer, mine is getting pretty noisy when reading, not sure what that means but it can't be good.

I've got around 50 beers here if you need some... lol

That sounds like something I'm going to have to try.

I love my high pressure hose washer. A little bit of scalding hot tap water and anything comes off. Pfft, high pressure. Our power washer has the capabilites of taking off paint... 3500psi @ 6gpm does some damage. It takes a 16hp engine to run it too

I Hate making cutting boards. Have one for mom that needs the final sanding that is out of Maple and Purple Heart and it was a serious pain in the ass.

If you look around for used equipment you can find some pretty darn good deals, like Jim said, hit up Audiogon for what your looking for. As for rack amps, I'd reccomend QSC personally, I haven't found anything that I dislike about them yet, if you buy them used don't worry about them to much, they are almost bulletproof. What kind of space is there to work with for the speakers? Is size a restraint on speaker size or do you have enough room to run an Imperial Horn setup?

That crossover would work, I had that one and I was never very fond of it though. You can find a RANE on ebay for the same price too, just be sure the crossover has a sub out. The ideal situation would be from a preamp to the crossover, then the crossover to the amp(s). You are going to need XLR cables for this setup as well.

Facebook has turned into myspace.

Don't sell chit. Go to garage sales, ask relatives, there is furniture all around sitting out on the curb man, go pick it up. When you get some extra money you can upgrade furniture.

Get that voltage up.

I haven't figured out how to ship anything that big and make sure it arrives in one piece either.

Well, I do Not want to lug a 150lb+ box (without driver) up and down basement stairs, and I definetly do not want to have to be flipping it around in the woodshop while working on it. Anything in the woodshop that you want a chain hoist for is to f'ing heavy.

Well, time to leave work, close enough to quitting time for me. No one has been here for 2+hrs and there isn't crap to do in the shop so I'm going home.
