    Handheld Oscilloscopes

Same as the HPS10, but with blue LCD, white backlight. Comes in a rigid carry case. http://www.vellemanusa.com/us/enu/product/view/?id=521603 Straight from the Velleman website. -Ryan

    Handheld Oscilloscopes

Psst, the 10 and the 40 both share a manual. I've got one in my lap here, the 10SE and the 10 are basically the same thing.

I think the main difference is the SE has a cool little carrying case, the regular doesn't.

My roommates think my audio equipment keeps multiplying like a fungus and call the cable jackets that get missed after I clean up from stripping wires the 'spores'. They did give me free reign of the house audio wise... they realize now that it might not have been a wise idea.

Most consumer level units are "modified power" in marketspeak, which means square waves...I wouldn't trust them for anything beyond a coffeemaker or cell phone charger. Good to know.

Oh and pwned on my crossover, the FS of the tweet is 5khz so I need a crossover point around 10khz. I guess this is what I get for taking a half a second to glance at the specs.... me = pwned.

Any idea if it'd be safe to run a DCX, and two amps at low output ranges (total under 400watts guessing) on a power inverter for a short period of time? *under 2hrs* I have no idea how clean the power is out of a power inverter.

    Welcome to the IHoP

Needless to say I played with some test tones on the IASCA SQ disk... Needless to say about 18hz the floor starts moving some real output starts ~20hz... 40hz in my house is downright devastating.

The same could be said about your BIB's Oh so true. But hell, even I question my sanity. But just got a 2nd order at 5khz LR crossover built for the BIB's *only one done* and much to my disappointment the tweeter seems rather harsh.

    Welcome to the IHoP

Actually if I walked into someones house and saw that and didn't know much about audio, I'd be a little wary about their sanity.
