I could actually make it in an even 7 I think... 7hrs is an Easy day trip for me, I can make that with only one stop, get there at night, get a cheap hotel go tour everything from opening till about 5pm then drive home. Get home around 12-2 somewhere in there. I've been known to drive to Colorado Springs (Olympic Training Center) on a friday night, shoot two pistol matches on a saturday, then drive home saturday.

I'm trying to figure out what I want to do this summer for a job... I realized that I do not want to have to move all my stereo gear, moving f'ing blows.
-
suckage Indeed, started school in Michigan *born there, moved here when I was 7* and started a year earlier than everyone here in Kansas. I'll be here for ~5 years though, maybe 5.5, who knows...

Bah, no 21 for me till next September, when I'm a fricking Senior.
-
I'd love to get the Camaro ready by then, but I dont know how likely that is. If it's not ready, I'll be in the Impala. I'm not sure where I'll be then, if I'll even be in Kansas or not. If I'm in Kansas I will see if I can bring the Chevelle up to Topeka for that day, all depends on where I find to work this summer.

Speaking of being 21, I can't wait till one of my good friends gets back from Iraq (next year about Christmas time). It is going to be one huge drunkfest at the bars, since Everyone that he knows here is going to be 21, and hes dating a good friend of mine and they are getting married when he gets back and the current plan is open bar with an enormous amount of alcohol. I can hardly wait. Basically a huge drunken party for a week or two straight, I'm going to be fricking broke after that. I can easily see that being a 1000$+ week

Bring it with and overprice it by $50. I like your ideas... They are yours, only with direction. Now that is something I normally lack.

Tom, are you going with the Impala on the Power Tour, and going through Topeka?

The body lines just don't look 'right', it doesn't 'flow' *for a lack of a better term*, the convertible top is ugly, and the stance is ugly too.

With my little ART SLA-1 rack amp, 100w per channel a hair before the clip lights come on is past the pain threashold and they aren't straining. I'm going to bring my Powerlight 1.0HV and put it on them sometime to see how loud they get. *I wear ear plugs when I do this.... *

The current crossover is a second order highpass on the fostex tweeters at 5khz if I remember correctly. I don't think it is possible to blow the tweeters which is what I was worried about. I've flogged them for a about two hours and they are still living with no adverse affects. Throw a 400w or so rack amp on them to keep from clipping and I think they would be the loudest indoor party speakers in Manhattan.

I hadn't thought of marketing it to a Frat house.... I like the way you think Sean.

Those scratches are in there for life.
-
For 450$ I'll even veneer (cherry) the second layer of the front baffle and paint the rest black.
-
If I don't sell them here in Manhattan they shall become the woodshop stereo.
-
375$ for them and I'll even help load, hell I'll even drive to KC if you have a full size pickup to transfer them to. It has to be a full size truck otherwise they won't fit.

Shipping is not an option.

I need to sell these BIB's... Any regular of SSA is welcome to come pick them up for cost.
