Eh, screw movable. We want it BIG! :D

I'm sure your way of doing it is way cooler than what we do in my unbelievably boring Solid Mechanics labs Are you laying gauges? I've help lay more than one or two gauges on concrete specimens.

Thanks for the info about the 'stangs. So I skipped one of my classes and went in to talk to a professor about my idear of building a rail gun can smasher. I've got it pretty well figured out now about how exactly to do it. To cut down down on the amount of current needed it is going to be air assisted in order to get the can moving, then energize the power supply to accelerate the can. While talking about the rail gun idea, we got talking about trebuchets, we came up with the idea of building the worlds largest one as a College of Engineering project. It would be the coolest thing EVER done in the university. It would be 100' tall, roughly 120tons of steel, and hurl a car ~1000'. Thats the summation of my past hour and a half of scheming with one of the professors. Basically build a big f'ing structure to hurl big f'ing things a long ways.

Ryan: I'm looking into fox body mustangs now... I'm curious as to what a price range would be for a 5.0, 5spd, hardtop, good paint/int would be... I don't want a convertible, nor any rust, at all. I'm just kinda curious as to what a price range would be if you could estimate it for me. thanks

Tom: I got the Dimmu Borgir song, currently playing it on the headphones and I can't wait to get this thing onto the BIB's....

Can't remember who wanted pics of my BIB's... but go here. http://s28.photobucket.com/albums/c206/bal...o_the_wall/BIB/
-
Never. How dare you say that. You need something like my BIB's for mains then though.
-
what is are BIB's? bigger is better, loads of output, huge box, not so much power is needed. Basically I have some of the biggest BIB's made (to my knowledge), the box is huge, but they go down under 20hz, with a single 12" driver per side. very nice and thanks for enlightening me Ryan's are bigger than mine But mine are for single 6.5's... http://www.audiokarma.org/forums/showthread.php?p=1308917 yours are nice to. but i dont know what ryan's look like but i would love to see some pics Working on it...

I think mine are bigger than about 99.9% of BIB owners though... Have you seen any bigger before, I really haven't looked.

Brief? Isn't that a rant that has started with every male since like age 14?
-
Anyone come up with some songs off the top of their head that have Serious midbass?
-
So.... With my powerlight ~300@8ohms, the BIB's don't scream for mercy... One of these days I might have to bring up the BIG amp.
-
Enough of this little amp stuff. Time to go hook up my Powerlight to these 'fellas.
-
I believe I am going to hook the BIB's back up and crank some chit up for a little bit.
-
Wuss. You know you want to do 15's. That'd be something...B&C 15's in a BIB and Altec sectional horns for the midrange/top end...yikes. Do NOT give me ideas.
