Possibly even do Dado joints too if I can get my boss to bring in his dado set.

Would ya'll be interested in data as to the bond strength relationship between butt joints on birch ply/MDF with titebond I/II/III, liquid nails adhesive, various forms of caulking and such? Basically make up the joints and break them in the lab at work *breaking in pure tension*. I'm thinking of doing this so the idiots on the other site will see what adhesives are stronger and quit arguing. *not sure anything can get them to shut up*

Oh and on getting my BIB thread stickied.
-
We are currently ahead of The Thread though.

I still want to find a setup that makes the difference between FLAC and originals obvious I have a feeling that it would take drugs, alcohol, or both to make it apparent.
-
The numbers have been verified, and I have updated the Vb calculation so everything is correct.
-
I would rather get the homework done, so I wouldn't have to worry about it tomorrow Thats logical, who the hell does that.
-
Thats enough to make a grown man cry.

I'm currently emailing scottmoose on DIY audio back and forth to make sure that my compilations on the BIB build criteria is actually correct.

Also thoughts on mounting a second driver on the inside baffle for a boost. *from Scottmoose on DIY Audio* Yes, adding a second driver mounted through the internal baffle is an interesting idea for a bit of tapped-horn boost. Note that Vb will have to double though -something of a downside when a cabinet is already rather large. ;^) Wish I'd thought of it, but GM takes credit for that one. No, it wouldn't necessarily have to be at the same height as the forward-firing unit, though it it would be advantageous IMO. Overall, I suspect it would end up being somewhat design-specific as to where it will best be positioned. I can't see there being a major problem of cancellation occurring, assuming the correct placement of the drivers so that the wavefronts do not encounter something in the reverse-phase.

A 3-way with decent crossovers for cheap??
-
Loud and cheap. If they look cool and not homemade that would help as well. Words outta my mouth. I know ur not far from Ft. Riley Military guys quite often are like that too. It helps if u make them so they will work on some of these chit low powered home systems too. Make sure the bass is STRONG most of them have no clue as to SQ (not that I have a huge one myself LOL) J Possibly using something like a 10/12" and a horn in a floor standing type using PA drivers, high effiency, tuned ~50ish or so. High efficiency, should be fairly loud, and have decent bass?

Hmm, I need some $$$. I would like ya'lls input on something. What type/style of custom speakers do YOU guys think would sell best in a college town? I'm strongly looking at just starting to build and sell for some extra money and curious as to what you guys think would be the best direction to point.

I should be posting what I've gathered on BIB design parameters later this evening.
-
Least they are being consistent.

Its a Microsoft product, were you expecting something amazing?

Working on putting together a list of BIB design criteria that I can piece together off of DIY audio for my next set of BIB's. If anyone is interested I can post it up here when I'm done with it. I'm working on the driver positioning currently and that is about the last thing left to do.

Hmmm, it appears that the cheaper HDMI cables are not rated to transfer 1080p, only 1080i... Interesting.

I'll be happy with a C in calc III and thrilled with a B in EP II.
-
I shall have to download them when I get back to my computer...

4:10am, finally going to bed.

Not sure why I'm still awake at 3:15 working on this speech.
