The eCrack thread could turn quite interesting...
-
The eCrack newbie needs to learn how to use paragraphs.

I have this yearning to build a rat rod... One of these days I hope to... *random thought*

Holy Crap! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chevrolet-C...sspagenameZWDVW

Awesome, you back for good or just on leave?
-
Whats up? Wondered where the hell you went.

Seems like such a waste to get a Outlaw 990 that will do anything and use it for 2ch. Be so much easier if I didn't use separates... I sure as hell aren't gonna get away from 'em though.
-
Anywho, enough splitting hairs Happy birthday Jim!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Not for 30 minutes here.
-
The outlaw 990 will do everything that I want it too, but damn its a bit pricey. 1,100 from Outlaw, 650-750 from ebay/online
-
I think some of Outlaw's stuff will do what I want, just not sure if I want to pony up the cash for one of them.

Something I'm worried about is the fact I'm using my TV (Sharp Aquos) as the audio out, and using it to switch components as well. I'm curious as to how crappy it is to the audio. Since I use the setup for movies I'm not going to go through the bother of switching chit back and forth and would prefer a preamp that I could do all my component switching in, but I'm not sure something like that exists for a reasonable price tag.
-
I should have known you would post a bottlehead preamp Jim.
-
Also thinking about the Parasound Halo P3
-
The budget could probably even be upped, especially if I decide to sell my Magnepans, and if I was to find something that has hi-def component/hdmi inputs/outputs. But from what I see, normally the ideal piece of equipment for me never exists or at some insanely expensive price.
-
I despise the tape measures that have metric on one side of them.
-
Budget is under 400$ or so, XLR is not necessary, just would be nicer since my other gear is pro audio.
-
Needs to have a phono stage, would prefer XLR in it too, if that is possible.
-
Bah, need a new preamp too, mine is noisier than a 2$ whore.
-
Bah, music loud, who cares.
-
Pretty sure the 880 does NOT do RF.

I absolutely love my Harmony 880 universal remote.
