My boss's son also owns a $250k drag truck that he built, 2000hp and does 170+mph in the 1/8th. His play toy car is a 800hp '67 Firebird, it use to have 1,100hp but he couldn't do anything with it, whenever he let out the clutch it dug ruts in his gravel driveway 6" deep.

sounds like a great job Oh it is, and if I'm dressed up for some god forsaken occasion and don't want to work, I go in and talk with my boss, we'll just bull shit and tell stories for a couple of hours, hes like 68yrs old, 4th generation wheelwright, put in a bazillion years as an electrician and has done more odd jobs than # of beers I've drank. That man has built about everything and has stories.

I know this, but damn it cuts the time requirement down occasionally. Hell it'll still take me over an hour and a half to do the damn assignment thats short, with the answers.

I love where I work, fricking great job. I get paid to build shit all day, and its always new shit too, not the same old thing day in and day out. Nothing is on a production line scale, no huge time rush, just get to sit down, design it, and go build it and put my own touches on it and make it a decent piece of work.

I despise school. The only good things about it is where I work, some friends, and booze.

Those numbers look fine, now if you have enough wire to back up your power draw I don't know *don't have a clue what your setup is* but I'm guessing thats your hold up if your experiencing voltage issues.

I don't know why, maybe its because I use things harder than most people, but I've broken a lot of things (not seriously, just broke). Header trailer has came apart while towing it (BEFORE we put the header on to move fields thank god, *combine*) Wheels have fallen off of the tractor Hydraulic crap on the tractors Power washers The list goes on and on, but strangely enough they always break at opportune moments...

I think I just broke part of this desk that I'm sitting at, tried to stretch my legs out and I kicked this chicken shit plastic covering for something, now it won't stay up.

Oh and Tom I'll see if I can get some photos of the truck, it isn't in the field but it is still the same with the hitch on the front, driveshaft and all...

Speaking of audiophile type music... I so dearly wanted to bring a CD of classic rock or something along those lines to the Rocky Mountain Audio Fest and ask them to play it without saying what it was just to see the look on their faces.

The beauty of pro amps (in my opinion) is that if you get good ones, the build quality is excellent, power is cheap, very tough, aren't very expensive, and power is cheap (have I already said that? )

I'm not getting shit done for studying, but I am in NO mood for that boring stuff. Posting random bull shit topics is more interesting, whether ya'll even care to read my postings, not sure, but hell, its all good.

After my trip to Mississippi I plan on starting to do my surround sound build for the hell of it, and starting on my entertainment center. So build logs will be coming in a week or three. One for 'peekas and one for welding up a metal fixture called my future entertainment center. No, not a stripper pole or cage, sorry. Although I would love to install a stripper pole, just to have one. I know I have some friends that would use it too.
