Nope. You do such a good job at getting other people to expand their budget and spend money, you have to buy top end tools.

I'd probably go for it, its only 300$ for full set of 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" in SAE and metric isn't it? Interested in Seth's view on GW stuff, I don't turn near as many wrenches as I use to anymore thankfully but I haven't had a problem with any of their stuff I have.

Looks to be pretty good prices on those. You really need a 3/4"-1/2" adapter for working on sleds??? Did you mean a 3/8"-1/2" adapter?

The ratcheting mechanism in all your ratchets and ratcheting wrenches is imported. There is only one manufacturer in the U.S. who makes their own ratcheting mechanism and that's Cornwell. Others assemble in U.S., but do not fabricate. Interesting, I thought Armstrong was still made in the US entirely, but I just don't know anymore. I've got a set of Armstrong ratchet wrenches that I love, but I sure didn't pay the new price for them. I haven't had anything wrong with the gearwrench stuff, but would prefer to have US stuff but it looks like it isn't hardly available anymore.

Never used the gear wrench sockets but have their wrenches and a ratcheting screwdriver set. I don't seem to have a problem with them but don't like the fact they are imports.

While working on a project some of the cheapo akro-mills stackable plastic bins. For dedicated storage its the standard open front bulk bolt bin cabinets, 1/4-3/4" and 1/4-1/2" SHCS. For smaller quantities such as stainless, set screws, self tapping, etc it is the steel hinged lid flat things from Fastenal.

I have 4g most of the time here in town on Sprint. Now my contract is up, I don't know who I'm going to use but I doubt it'll be Sprint. The W's is still though November so it'll be a bit before I decide.

Vertically or horizontally? I'm confused. Not sure why anyone besides a panel saw would lay sheet vertically to cut it...

https://www.fastenal.com/web/products/details/MS2510012A20000 They have stores in KS. Might have the length you need in stock, just not on the site. J www.mcmaster.com You will have to buy a box of them from wherever you get them from.

The standard Freud Diablo from home depot will do just fine. Give it a little WD-40 as a cutting fluid or some of the saw blade wax lube and it'll go like butter. I cut wood, foam, aluminum, copper, plexiglas, acrylic, etc on my table saw and the blade was new in Sept of '13 and is now looking like it'll need replaced.

Got a friend who is having problems getting auto parts stores to check codes and was wanting a cheap one to recommend to him to do it. Just for resetting/checking code lights is all thats needed.

The high frequency was an assumption on my part. He is a bee keeper, and is trying to further understand the dynamics of his colony, and how they communicate. He was looking for a tool that would allow him to study this. Thanks for the article too, I will pass it along to him. J I'm going to guess the tools to measure tiny flying things of that nature start with a 6 figure pocket book and a check to people like Sean. I'm with Sean though, research should be number 1 and 2 on the list. Bee keeping has been around for centuries, and at that same time I bet they wanted them to stop dying and put out more honey so since then they've been studying and researching their habits.
