Wow, people are bitching here in the library because the elevator isn't working on this floor and they have to walk down ONE floor to get to the main level... so hard...

Ahhh, independent liquor stores here, but we have the Carrie Nation laws that prohibit the selling of anything good at grocery stores etc.

I'm confizziled. For anything above 3.2% you have to go to an actual liquor store to get 6% beer and hard liquor, you can only buy 3.2% donkey piss in grocery stores/gas stations. Is that what you were askign?

I think what he did was the floating pin on the backside that you have to tip the gun at the correct angle in order to put the bolt retainer pin in (that last piece that holds the bolt in), I think he forced it together and bent that or something along those lines. If you held it normal it wouldn't latch the firing pin back correctly and function right (you could rack the slide, but the firing pin wouldn't cock), but if you held it upside down (I think it was..) it would work correctly.

Speaking of Ruger pistols, my roommate broke his Mark III 22/45 the other day, I'm pretty sure he assembled it wrong and bent something, but I haven't looked at it yet and not sure if I care to.

Ahh, not my definition of Hustle for money, but I got ya. I just made some easy money the other day doing crown molding for a professor sunday, also have to do some more trim for him, and do a ceiling too. Easy money, he pays me well, feeds me, has decent tools, and free beer. Great setup.

I'd often thought about head phone holders, but never got around to building some. I figured there were plenty out there already. It appears that would be a good market to start in, those plywood ones for 42$ are (in my opinion...) ugly, and overpriced. There is less than 1.50$ in materials in that thing and you can make it in probably 20min if you know what you are doing. This looks like a very interesting market, thanks for the heads up Neil. I think I'm going to have to go visit a lumber yard and pick up some walnut and 'exotics' and start seeing what I can make. Needless to say they will have curves and not be just a regular stand. I'm already excited about this. I'll give you a $1.50 for a pair I think you'd rather have a stand for about 30$ that is done in steam bent walnut or something along those lines. Pics when u do this Not much to it really, you just make a 'steam box' thats open on both ends, put your piece in there on some risers, fill it with steam and it takes ~15min for every1/4" of thickness. Then you can bend it around your form. For these that I'm thinking of, I'll probably do a steel plate with holes drilled in a grid (then use bolts) so I can play around with different configurations and shapes till I find some that I really like.
