    Welcome to the IHoP

A friend of mine asked the professor if we could just solve the matrices on the calculator instead of doing half page of work by hand and having the possibility of the little errors, the short answer was no, thats not how it work, you can do it, but you'll get less than half credit.

The legit copy of 300 I have doesn't upconvert for shit, I was quite disappointed.

Are the plasmas that are being built today still have the problem of...well, dying? 3 grand on a TV and not having last a decade doesn't sit well with me. Me neither, my LCD is rated for 60,000 hours, by my watching it will last Forever, and it'd better or I shall be pissed.

I think my FE127's are rated at 45w, and the amp on them can throw 300w per channel at them IIRC. Can you say headroom?

A big badass TV is pointless to me without an audio setup to compliment it.

On the topic of woodworking, my boss invited me to a local woodworking 'club' meeting tonight at one of the member's shops (he makes 5k$ entry doors and such), think I'll probably join and learn from the old farts there.

Tack on another 150$ and you can have a set similar to mine with the oak front too.

What are Mileva's exactly? It is a smaller design for the 4.5" Fostex FE127 full range speaker, they are made to be placed close to a wall so they don't need BSC (Baffle Step Correction), elegant dimensions in my opinion. Needless to say if I was to build Mileva's for anyone but a friend it'd be more than 200$. I could build a pair of MDF painted ones for under 400$ shipped though without a problem.

I might be building another pair of Mileva's too (my newest home audio 'peeka build) for a friend who wants decent 2ch with 200$ cap on speakers.

Curious... What type of pens/pencils do you guys use? I use Parker ball point pens, and Parker mechanical pencils. I'm curious as to what everyone else here uses, just a random thought.

Matt: I don't see a problem with those parts, although I have been out of the computer game for a couple of years so I'm not up on all new stuff at all. They are on the cheap side, but then I have had pretty good luck with the cheap stuff in the past so I'd say go ahead and go for it.
