Never saw any kevlar aprons in this place but on the lines where they cut the inperfections out of the boards they have tried to see how fast they could wear out a dewalt chop saw, took them a day and a half to wear it out completely. They use a 40k$ upcut saw built in house for it, its a pretty awesome setup. They pipe something like 120 tons of sawdust a day over to the plywood/particle plant next to them.

Up here in Pella, IA. Toured the Pella window factory this morning, holy shit, 50 acres under roof, the lumber plant was fricking cool as shit.

Works out pretty well though, only a guy who does manual labor would drive a truck that looks like mine... There have been times I stopped in a town to look at a skid steer some place was selling, guy comes out without saying anything else he tosses me the keys and tells me to take it for a spin.

So found out today my friends house that they are moving into in June is right across from the Tri-Delt sorority house... If I provide labor for getting the yard, deck, and trees trimmed and everything up to snuff, free booze for me.
